Of course, they'll try to capitalize on this.

But what you'll see them deliberately ignore is the fact that all the people rounded up will be people who have already been through the entire process...hearings, appeals, etc...and have been given court orders to be deported.
 
They will try like hell...
They keep moving the goal posts. The aliens being deported have had
their day in court and have been ordered out of the country. Right now the
Dems position is resist the law as we have seen democratic leaders put out information
how to do this.

Maybe it's time for federal charges?

shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).

Waiting for Cory Booker and any other Dems who have defied our agreement and brought back migrants into the country who were sent back to Mexico to wait to be held accountable for their criminal stunts.

I think it galvanizes Americans on the side of law enforcement and will turn them away from whoever the Dem candidate is, because ANY Dem at this point will be synonymous with open border and thwarting our laws and processes for legal immigration.

The optic of tearing families who are doing no one any harm under the guise of upholding the law has not done well. Most of us feel the limited resources of law enfircement should be used to protect us from harm, not to torment desperate people.

You do have this going for you. Miserable people are impessed by efgorts to visit misery upon people they feel are beneath them. So Fox News viewers will be heartened by this.

Who is "us"?

Anyway, you should make a list of the Laws you don't want enforced and the reasons why (something other than "optics" might be more effective) and send it to DHS.
In fact, you might as well send the same kind of thing to the DOJ and your State & Local Law enforcement.
Imagine the resources that can be saved.

Yes, the Dems will certainly use the "they are tearing families apart" card, while ignoring the fact that our justice system has ordered them to be deported.

Feelings trump law and order every day of the week.

Hey guy... the American people are born into this and have become so accustomed to it that most Americans are now soft on illegal immigration
