I provided a link to an article about Trump running an ad so racist that even his propaganda wing, FOX News, wouldn't carry it. That is a fact. It's also a fact that Trump's primary strategy for energizing his base is to use racist attacks. The other link explains it, and highlights many examples.

Anyways, those are the facts. Learn to live with them. ;)

and you get poorer simply by virtue of having to educate them, train them, provide for them when they have no income, spend money on law enforcement if they turn to crime, etc, etc, etc. Import trained, literate, skilled people and you don't have such problems. That is not to say that we can't be a haven for some poor, uneducated people, simply not the masses that certain people think we should absorb.

I worked with at least a dozen people who came to this country with almost nothing. In some cases, living in refugee camps (planting bean sprouts which he hated...some raised chickens, etc.). They barely spoke English.
They were not stupid...they all ended up with great grades in college (better than the average White America firster), and now make 6 figures. I pay them, I know how much they earn. Yeah, when we all swapped stories at lunches, we all got a taste of American humble pie.

You're just pushing stuff you learned on Fox news partisan entertainment. Admit it. There is no shame, millions do it. But you could change by educating yourself and being 100% honest with yourself at all times (other than mortality and such).

There is a reason the rich people in this country pushed to allow cheap labor and consumers in here, and a reason why they opened the doors to selling your blue collar job overseas. And you cheered them.

My wife is an immigrant, and she was a Trump supporter before I was. :lol: But to answer your question, when it comes to the U.S.A. and what it offers its citizens, I don't like ingrates period. I would gladly swap some of our native-born citizens for immigrants who would appreciate the opportunity this country would give them.

I'm not saying strip her of her citizenship. She's here, so I guess we're stuck with her. :doh I just wish she'd never been admitted in the first place. This country gave her and her family refuge from a war-torn, poverty-stricken nation, and yet she does nothing but disparage it an its institutions, that is when she isn't bashing Israel. Most Muslim nations in the Middle East and Africa are economic and human rights basket cases, yet we hear nary a word from her about them. She'd rather attack our ally and just about the only true democracy in that part of the world.

Your anecdotal examples prove nothing. A handful of people cannot be held up as representative when millions are coming in. You sound like the people who can't understand why Trump won because nobody they know voted for him. The sample size is meaningless. You want to talk about simple mistakes, there's one. Oh, and if you can't read or write the language of the country you're entering then you are functionally illiterate. I never said they had to stay that way.

Secondly, yes, corporations want the cheap labor that the current system provides them. I've said that over and over again. They are certainly part of the problem. Funny, I've never seen you offer any solutions. All you do is take cheap shots at the people like me pointing out uncomfortable facts. The system is a disaster and must be fixed. So called "immigration reform" is usually just window dressing to allow the same things to go on under a new name. Yes, Congress is to blame, especially the spineless GOP beholden to their corporate masters who didn't give Trump what he needed during the first two years. Democrats? Are you serious? They have ZERO interest in fixing it. They see these millions of migrants as future lifetime Democrat voters. Big business sees an endless supply of cheap labor. Only Trump and the average citizen want it fixed. The way to do that is to change the law to stop allowing anyone in who simply shows up with a child, any child. Will Congress do that? Of course not. Will they fund the wall? Nope. But hey, whine and rant about Trump as if he's the one derelict in his duty.

Lastly, I'm not whipped up at all. You seem to be, however. As I said, I'm simply pointing out facts but, because you don't like those facts, you take cheap shots at me in a feeble attempt to discredit what is true. Both parties have failed. They have failed because the establishment won't do what is actually needed to stem the flow of illegal aliens. They can cobble together all the "comprehensive" bills they want but if they do not address the crux of the problem, nothing will change, and that is the real objective.
