My point is that your point in post #58 was false.
Sorry, but a bunch of nonsense from the media is not a valid dispute of my contention.

Obama was opposed by the Republican House and Senate. The press doesn't vote in congress.

Put up or go away.
Trump has faced the most coordinated and intense opposition that ANY US President has had to deal with...and all the Trump haters can do is blame Trump for not getting some things done.
Reminds me: what’s going on with the opioid crisis?
Just go back to the last president.
From Day One, all the way to the last year, when Obama was denied a Supreme Court pick by MCConnell who used a completely bogus excuse.
John Boehner, Speaker of the House, offering his plans for Obama’s agenda: “We're going to do everything — and I mean everything we can do — to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell summed up his plan; “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”
And there were others who also endured undeserved scrutiny and opposition. You’re just too deep in the Kool-Aid to be able to rationally view history.
Sorry, but that is not as much as all the Dems and a lot of the Reps.
Media opposition is a real thing. It has a big effect. Trump gets it in spades. Obama never did.
You were saying?
Complete denial.:2no4:No matter how many times you rub their noses in that fact, they will pretend they didn't see it.

If his proposals are that unpopular, doesn't that rightly reflect on the guy just a little bit?
If a significant portion of the GOP doesn't support his agenda, maybe it wasn't the brightest idea nominating him. Something to think about for 2024, maybe.
Trump goes out of his way to make enemies in the media, even before 2016 and certainly after, and now we're confused about why he gets bad press?
Ahhh! So Trump is being foiled by the evil, all powerful press. How, exactly, does this work? Did they force some poor helpless Republican to vote against Trump?
yawn...
And Trump has been under attack from Dems and Trump haters from both the House AND the Senate since BEFORE he was elected.
Face it. Obama had it easy compared to Trump.
Oh the poor orange bebe! All those meanies after him!
Face it, Trump has brought virtually all of his troubles on himself. From paying off women to protect his campaign, all the way to the current disaster at the border. The guy isn’t just a terrible leader, he’s a genuinely horrible person.yawn...

Their rumors and fake news.
Seriously...where have you been for the last four years?
It's not a "significant portion of the GOP". The GOP rank and file overwhelmingly support Trump. No...it is a small, but effective, portion of the GOP Elites...especially the ones in Congress.
Cool. You've devolved into snark. That means you've finally accepted the fact that you got nothing else.
You are dismissed.

The fact is, it's a testament to the man's adherence to purpose that he has gotten anything done at all. If any of our previous Presidents had been faced with similar opposition, they would have given up.
Too bad, Trump haters...Trump won't give up.
Hmm, exactly what the previous president faced and did not give up and gave Trump a good economy to boot.

The previous President hasn't faced ANYTHING like the opposition the current President is facing.
thread title: His Own Words Buries Him!
I have another "his own words bury him from today.
"if illegal immigrants are unhappy with the conditions at border facilities...just tell them not to come"
