Are You a Beer Patriot?

Yes.

You'll have to pry the can or bottle away from my cold dead hands.

As a true beer patriot I try to support the beer economy year 'round, not just on the 4th.

This year's 4th of July celebration will span the beer economy from east coast to west. There will be Longboards from Kona, Red Tail Ale from Mendocino, Voodoo Rangers from Colorado and Dogfish Head 90 min IPA from Connecticuit

I'll be doing the 12 ounce curl on the 4th for sure. And maybe a little rye whiskey.

Dogfish is brewed in Delaware...:drink

Beer and Wine... damn... will someone think of the Bourbon!?!?!?

In honor of the 4th of July, I shall wear my special shoes with the built in bottle opener. What better way to celebrate some of the outrageous hangovers most true soldiers got in between periods of war and peace!

BTW, my favorite summer beer is Rolling Rock. Craft IPA types in the winter.

Voodoo Ranger is a terrible IPA. Get Odell's IPA instead.

I'm at the age where my body doesn't take kindly to IPA's. I usually drink Mexican beer, or blondes and lagers and pilseners. I go to a place by my house that always has 32 beers on tap, once the keg runs out, they erase it from the board and put up a new one, I've been able to try some amazing stuff.

Someone Keeps On Losing?:confused::2razz:

Why did Vikings say Skol?
It is the team's Viking war chant and comes from the Swedish, Danish and Noreigian word "Skål." A Skål was a bowl that was often filled with beer and shared among friends so the word became a way of saying "Cheers!" .

Pronounced skoal!

only if it is ICE cold. that stuff gets skanky as soon as it warms up

too bad they quit selling it as ponies ... the perfect size for that particular beer

Not me.

I gave up drugs and alcohol almost 40 years ago.

Well, as long as you didn't give up festive cupcakes too you can still come to the party.

Corona with a slice of lime is so refreshing. Some good old Hefeweizen with a slice of lemon aren't too bad either.
But, thinking of Patriotism, may be some S A summer ale or porch rocker will do.

I'm more of a Dos Equis fan, Sunday in the pool temp was 111 degrees, you have to drink one water with one beer in that weather or you get rapidly dehydrated.

It was hot, but today the temp drastically is dropping to 108.

We sometimes have a beer at night out on the porch. I'd be under the table after the first sip in that kind of weather.
