Eric Trump says he was assaulted at a Chicago restaurant

I don't want anyone to commit violence against Trump or his spawn. But comparing frustrated private citizens to Nazis? That gets a big LOL. A big depressed LOL. If our laws and our former traditions of decency are not enough to stop Trump's evil, there's going to be a lot more violence. Dark days are coming.

I didn't go through the whole thing but did cover the first 570 posts. At that point in the thread about 95% of the posts were made by liberals blaming Republicans for supporting Gianforte's action. I only saw two posts that even came close to "celebrating" the act and both of those were more along the line of "he deserved it". To that end, it should also be pointed out that the reporter that got slammed was not merely sitting there eating his dinner. The reporter had been asked multiple times to leave a private meeting and refused to do so.

It's easy, using the internet, to make equivalencies between certain events but in no way, shape or form is spitting on someone because you disagree with them politically equivalent to body slamming someone because they won't leave you alone. Neither act is acceptable but they damned sure aren't equivalent in scope or nature.

Considering that Eric Trump is well known as Trump's son and the current charged political atmosphere, I think that the attack was most likely politically motivated. That doesn't make it any better. If it was political, it's a sad reflection of the state of politics in our country.

Predicting that bad times are ahead is not the same as promoting violence, as you insinuated that I did.

I repeat, "I don't want anyone to commit violence against Trump or his spawn."


I do not want anyone to waste their lives in their attempts to take a stand against the evil that you support.

I don't want anyone to make martyrs out of the evil people that you support.


I want them to be voted out of the White House and let the courts pursue the many cases pending against their criminal enterprises.



Predicting dark times and understanding the pain that people feel over the inhumanity that these horrible people are perpetrating and too many Americans are celebrating ... not the same as promoting violence.



Since you clearly don't understand the difference between promoting violence and observing that we're in troubled times, is there any point in continuing here?

I'm not ready to rule out the possibility ET was being an asshole, though.

Just because ET has tried to make it political, doesn't mean that it actually was.

Still though, it could have been.
But maybe not too.

I can afford to wait as my panties are in the wash and not ready for knotting.

There's actually no excuse for spitting on people. Even if ET was actually the spawn of Satan and being rude and crass as well, it wouldn't justify spitting on him. Sneering is ok. I'd celebrate sneering.
