Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, said Tuesday he was spat on by an employee at a Chicago-area restaurant.

"It was purely a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems," the President's third child told conservative site Breitbart News by phone Tuesday evening.

The Chicago Police Department was on the scene and assisted Secret Service, per CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

"CPD was on scene and assisting the United States Secret Service with a law enforcement matter. Any and all inquiries regarding a federal protectee must be directed to the Secret Service," Guglielmi tweeted.

A United States Secret Service spokesperson declined to comment to CNN, and did not respond to inquiries on whether charges had been filed.
Eric Trump cast blame for the incident, which took place at upscale cocktail bar and restaurant Aviary, more broadly on the Democratic Party.

"For a party that preaches tolerance, this once again demonstrates they have very little civility. When somebody is sick enough to resort to spitting on someone, it just emphasizes a sickness and desperation and the fact that we're winning," he told Breitbart.

And he says the hatred which people have for him and his vile family is a sign that they're doing something right. Trump denial is profound.



Also, the alleged spitter was quickly released, so we don't yet know that this isn't another invented victimization from the First Snowflake Family.

First of all, we don't have proof.

Second of all, I did not defend it. I simply expressed scorn at the hypocritical snowflake who thinks that the citizenry rising up against Trumpian atrocities is a sign that Trump is doing something right.

No, people objecting to their country being destroyed and objecting to inhumanity being committed in their name ... not a sign that the inhumanity and destruction are good things. Not a sign of "winning".


I am not defending the violence which the Trumps are pushing this nation toward. I don't want anyone to pay with their lives or freedom out of frustration at what the Trumps and Trump supporters are doing to the country. When people break the law, they need to pay the penalty. Understanding is not defending. But again, we don't have proof yet. We have a liar making an accusation. And we have the accused being quickly released. More information is needed.

People who oppose the left are considered evil to leftists. And when that happens, your death is okay by them. That's how frickin' twisted those sob's are. Any nature of vile abhorrent behavior towards others is cool.

They aren't really justifying the act (and will likely tell you so in a couple more posts) but they damned sure aren't condemning it. See, as far as they're concerned it's fine to treat people you disagree with politically as less than human.
 
I don't condone this kind of behavior, in spite of the fact that I think Eric Trump is as reprehensible as his father is. It's rude ignorant, childish and gross.

But spare us the faux outrage. His father is the one that is constantly encouraging attacks on opposition. His father is the man who applauded Greg Gianforte for body slamming a reporter (because violence is the funniest thing, you know).

Maybe Eric might tell his father to shut up with the calls to bad actions first. But he won't.

Obama isn't in office and when he was his girls were minors. They themselves were never politically involved. Trump's ****ty kid on the other hand is an adult who regularly lavishes his praise on his Fathers presidency.
