You would think someone would care that so many are willing to die to get here. But, alas.

For months, advocates have been warning that deaths at the border would increase, as migrants are forced to cross in more dangerous areas by US policies that make it harder for those seeking asylum to turn themselves in at ports of entry.

Oscar Alberto Martinez and his daughter, identified by officials from El Salvador as Angie Valeria M., drowned in the currents of the Rio Grande on Sunday as they tried to slip into the United States.

These kind of comments are rank hypocritical statements that are typical from the left.

1. Calamity: We need to take drastic action against global warming - probably drives a gas guzzler, doesn't even recycle.

2. We need to do something about the poor: Never probably has donated a dime in his life to a homeless person on the street.

They teach all Kiwi kids to swim in school... we would easily sneak into the USA.

If they had schools that taught swimming to all kids in a corrupt country like El Salvador,---a country the USA messed up back in the 80's, I might add---the guy probably would not have fled it, running for his life, only to get himself and his daughter killed at the finish line.

You would think that if a person could not swim that they would not try to swim across a hulking river out in the middle of nowhere.

How do you know he was running for his life?

Use NAFTA to relocate all the MAcDonalds to El Salvador... give them the jobs they need and get all our fat Americans running down there for trickster workouts...
