Democrat plea for help from Russia to pervert the American presidential election

Democrats are dirty. They have mastered the art of lying, cheating, stealing and perverting American elections. Assange leaked DNC documents which exposed the effort of the DNC to steal the election from Sanders and give it to Hillary and when that horrifying exposure came out the democrats immediately began crying "Russia, Russia, Russia" to deflect attention away from their own criminal acts. The ploy worked because the leftist media did not want the truth to come out, the corrupt dummasses, and so went into full spin mode to destroy the truth and promote the lie.

After Russia fell during the Reagan administration secret files were unearthed which detailed Ted Kennedy's secret communications with Russia in an attempt to steal the election from Ronald Reagan in 1984. Thank God the plan failed and Ted Kennedy did not get his wicked way.

Can’t you get anything correct? The Soviet Union ended on December 26th, 1991 (more than 2 years after Reagan left office).

This is serious stuff. Why are you making light of it? Are you American? Do you believe in preventing foreign interference ion American elections? Just because Trump was not involved in such interference does that make you want to ignore democrat involvement in election corruption?

What is pathetic is the fact that democrats refuse to deal with clear democrat collusion with Russia to pervert a presidential election while refusing to let go the lie that Trump supposedly colluded with Russia to influence an election.

The source I posted said the dirty secrets were uncovered in 1991. I'm sorry if you misunderstood me to say something contrary. I admit I was wrong saying the Soviet Union fell during Reagan's term. It was the Berlin Wall which came down thanks to Reagan.

Maybe, given enough time, democrats will finally drop their false charges against Trump for supposedly colluding with Russia to pervert the election. Kennedy actually did it, Trump did not.

I didn’t refer to the report you cited, I commented on your poor knowledge of history. The only misunderstanding was yours.

And as much as I admired Reagan (my first presidential vote), he wasn’t principally responsible for the Communist State’s collapse, or the Berlin Wall as part of it.

But at least condemn politicians for dirty things they have done ( like use information from foreign sources to investigate the 2016 Republican nominee for president) as opposed to what they HYPOTHETICALLY might do (like use foreign information to investigate the 2020 Democratic candidate for president).

Why? A Democratic Senator goes directly to the source and offers to conspire.
Nobody has ever suggested that anyone approached Putin and of course the USSR was certainly the main adversary in 1984.

"May officially turn to him" is not quite the same thing as actually being the candidate encouraging assistance from Vlad the Corrupter.

As for Ted himself....never the sharpest tool in the Kennedy shed.

Because the OP is dishonestly attempting to mock CURRENT Russian election interference to help the Trump Campaign with a story from 35 years ago and then pretend its applicable to the current situation - which it is not and has nothing to do with.

The story from 35 years ago has NOTHING to do with what happened in this last election cycle with Trump and the Russians.

Nothing happened between Russia and Trump in 2016.
Nothing happened in 1984 either. But in that situation, Kennedy apparently went directly to the top and offered to conspire. Nothing remotely was ever alleged about that with regards to Trump.

The opinions from the Right are like New England weather. If you don't like it, wait 5 minutes.

Of course then there is the issue of whether their claim is even worth considering as a flip flop or an opinion of merit at all. As I pointed out in the post that quoted the piece the two incidents, Trump as actual candidate, Kennedy as a thought whisking through the mind of Ted and a few of his allies as a possible candidate is NOT equivalent.
