Maybe if he did so first, this wouldn't be such an issue. As I said earlier, thats kinda the point.
I'll make it a little clearer for you though.....I usually ere on the side of being an ego maniac with this President. I am a firm believer that he will say the most outlandish **** knowing that eventually, hes going to walk it back so that he can appear to have headed off the consequences of a monumentally stupid decision, always forgetting that we simply have to go back to the tape to see that it was him who originally brought up the monumentally stupid option in the first place. Always wanting to appear tough on everything comes with a cost. That cost comes in the form of almost always saying **** you will have to step back from before you find yourself painted into a corner.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, was actually going to let the President make this WWIII. I gave credit that the right decision was made in my earlier post. For what its worth, I don't actually care who made it. I was simply explaining to you why some people might have an issue giving credit to the President...and how silly it is that some people are angry they don't.
Fair enough. I know this might come as a real shocker but I have never liked Trump years before he ran for office. He is a typical blustery pompous New York millionaire with an ego about the same size as the city like all of them are. Although the media, celebrities, politicians, and the Democratic party fawned over Trump for years.
I voted for the guy because of the state of this government and the obvious cover ups, lies, and BS our government was involved in. Just an FYI, yeah, I voted for Obama in his first election.
Even with his propensity for being a typical blustery pompous New York millionaire with an ego about the same size as the city, he was not a bought and paid for candidate, not a politician, and didn't have any of the political baggage from outside special interest. Now before we jump to him being a Russian agent, its a waste of time to convince me of that so lets just save our breath. These are the reasons I voted for the guy.
Almost overnight, he was now hated by the media, Democrats, Republicans, celebrities, and every special interest group. That was the key for 63 million Americans to vote for Trump. He was EXACTLY what we thought he was. AN outsider with an ax to grind.
My predicted outcome if he won was both parties will now stop all this stupid stuff (like running Hillary) and be forced to provide some fresh new minds with outstanding accolades. But alas, the media and the Democrats decided to double down and continue the hate mongering at every opportunity. After watching what they tried to do to Kavanaugh and Trump over the last 3 years, I can guarantee you I will be voting for Trump again.
And the worst part is, nobody with half a brain will even consider running for President now. After what they have seen in the media and how easy it is to just make up claims against a sitting President, we have collectively shot ourselves in the foot for many years to come in hopes of finding someone both parties will support.
So based on Trumps accomplishments in office thus far, and the fact that my other choices will be Biden, Sanders, or Warren, yeah, I will not be giving any votes to the Democratic party for any office for a long time. Too bad really. I was actually hoping they would see the light and give us a choice but instead, what do we have. The identical behavior from 2016.
These are just my opinions and how I feel about this political climate. It doesn't mean I'm right or wrong but it is how I feel about this and at the end of the day, it is my vote I get to cast.
