Colin Powell was assuring us, and the whole world, that the US military was sure Saddam Hussein had WMD. So we went to war because of that.

Gotta take these things with a grain of salt.

If you want my opinion, feel free to start you own thread asking non-Trump supporters the same question, and I'll be happy to address that in your thread. Anything you'd like to put forth regarding this thread. assuming you are a Trump supporter ? If you're not a Trump supporter, please disregard as it is a moot point.

I am more of a Trump defender, not a Trump supporter. Didn't want him president. Didn't vote for him in the primary or the general. But, the left have gone loony tunes ever since his election and I defend Trump from their constant nonsense. You shouldn't be asking the question unless you are able to answer it yourself.

While moot at this point, as a oft-time Trump defender, what he SHOULD have done IF the drone was targeted and then attacked in international air space is a proportional response. Absent an apology or plausible excuse from Iraq, the missile launch bases or equivalent support facilities mobile launch pads should eliminated with awe: a MOAB would be sufficient messaging.

If asked by the press why he did so, a simple reply would suffice: "Apparently there was a failure to communicate our offense at attacks on our military forces, so we just communicated. "

It's not a hijack at all!!!!!!!!!!! You are asking a question of others that you can't even answer yourself. If you answer the question it is entirely within the scope of the thread subject. It's not a hijack and it doesn't need a separate thread. Can you answer your very own question or not?

For now the 3rd time...I'll be happy to answer the question on my terms, not yours. Start your own thread for non-Trump supporters, and ask the same question, or not. ...your call... There is no hypocrisy on my part. However there seems to be some laziness or apathy on your part. That's your problem, not mine. And for the record, I never claimed anyone 'should answer the question.' that is a fallacious claim you are making. If others want to answer the question, fine. If not, that is also fine.

The IAEA, UNMOVIC, and UNSCOM reports from the time gave no reason to believe otherwise. Iraq violated their agreements, restricted access to facilities despite agreeing they would do so, refused to make people available when asked to do so, and at times, kick inspectors out of the country.

Before drawing your own conclusions, if you care, you might try gaining some facts related to the issue, rather than counting on sources that that attempt to do your thinking for you based on an agenda they were trying to sell.
