1. Get the USMCA signed and lose support from his base in the election this year.

2. Torpedo the USMCA, flush the toilet the Canadian economy is in right now...and lose the election this year.

That's why he came to talk to Trump last week. He needs advice.

In the meantime, why is this a big deal when Biden does it, and not Trump? Every politician in recent American history (could be exaggerating, I welcome you to highlight any errors in what I'm saying) takes corporate contributions. Why is this a story? Why is this a thread? Is there a point? Just seems like a lot of pointless bitching and moaning to me...

I expect the status quo Republocrats to be schmoozing with WallStreet. I doubt Trump is much different.
