With the recent Trump interview with ABC News George S., we know now how Trump really feels about foreign interference in campaign despite all the earlier denials. This interview sheds new light on the issue of intent.

Mueller made many mistakes in his 2 year long inquiry - almost all of which have benefitted Trump greatly.

Among the Mueller mistakes were

1 - Not going to court to force Trump to answer all of his questions.

2 - Not pursuing the financial history of Trump to determine if he had been compromised and wrongly under the control or at least undue influence of foreign governments like Russia.

3 - Giving Trump Tower participants be benefit of the doubt regarding the element of intent to break the federal election law concerning help from foreign nations or persons.

4 - Not indicting Trump for crimes.

5 - Not indicting Donald Trump Jr. and others for their role in crimes.

6 - Not clearly saying that Trump committed crimes regarding the ten instances of obstruction of justice.

7 - Not delivering a summary of his key findings in person.

8 - Allowing Barr to hijack his Report and grossly misrepresent and lie about its contents thereby derailing the issue.

9 - Stating that he will NOT testify before Congress and continuing that position.

All of these taken together greatly weakened both the position of Mueller during the investigation, in the delivery and reception of his report, and in the response to the report from Trump and others. Lots of people keep saying "read the report" and its falling on deaf ears. And Mueller bears a great deal of responsibility for this situation because he allowed himself to be outmaneuvered, outfoxed, as well as just plain stonewalled.

I think Mueller’s message was clear: RTFM!

Not his fault we don’t read.

tl;dr (from haymarket's POV) --- here's the list of things that should've happened because I know more than Mueller who spent 2 years investigating thousands of pieces of evidence and interviewed hundreds of people. I just sat on an internet forum and whined. I'm so mad because it didn't go the way I wanted it to. Wah!

But it did pretty much go the way I wanted in many respects. Large portions of the Report are excellent and tell the truth. It simply fell short in other areas and that greatly hurt Mueller and allowed Trump and Barr to steal the message. And - for many people - that is rendering the final Mueller Report to an irrelevancy. And it allows others to hijack and lie about it which is completely contrary to its purpose.

I do NOT think that is what Mueller or anyone working for him wanted.

But that now that your attack on me as an enemy of your politics is out of the way, what exactly am I wrong about in my list?

I think a reasonable expectation was that Mueller have an in person interview with the president. Allowing him to skate by having his lawyers stamp "I do not recall" on written answers is a joke

With the recent Trump interview with ABC News George S., we .....

Witnessed an actual textbook example of open, active and deliberate collusion with a hostile foreign power...in real time, in front of cameras, and broadcast verbatim to millions of viewers.

Trump openly stated on live television that he intends to commit a crime.
Why is he not being charged?

Because he literally OWNS law enforcement now, that's why.
It's like a crooked town where one man is both the police chief, judge and jailer, and a criminal at the same time.

I have to ask, why is the information from Russia about Trump sought and bought by the Clinton’s not of concern to the same people so worried about this?

You know why....lol

And you guys stopped Trump from firing him because Mueller was the most honest man on Earth and you needed to protect him... LOL Chumps!

That personal opinion has nothing to do with the validity of each of the items on my list.

#2: Mueller subpoenaed Trump's bank records. Obviously, there was nothing there.

#3 & #5: If Don Jr. had committed a crime, you can bet your sweet ass Mueller would have charged him...lol

What information did Clinton buy from Russia and what does it have to do with the validity of each of the items on my list?

There's one BIG mistake that you've made that Mueller didn't make: Trying to do things that have no basis in ability, fact or evidence.

For example..."Not delivering a summary of his key findings in person. He couldn't. He was required to deliver his full report to the AG and that's ALL he could do. Any release of information is the decision of the AG...not Mueller.

The Report says next to nothing about any examination of Trumps tax records.

Mueller did not charge Jr. with a crime because he explains that he had doubts as to if he could prove intent in a court of law. Many other prosecutors have publicly disagreed with that saying it was the wrong decision. Those doubts have been erased with the recent ABC Trump interview.

I have to ask, why is the information from Russia about Trump sought and bought by the Clinton’s not of concern to the same people so worried about this?

Last I checked, she isn't the President.

When did she "seek" this information from Russia? Do you have some emails or something I can see from her that say "Call Russia and get dirt on Trump"?

Nothing prevented Mueller from being along side Barr when the Report was released.

Congress has asked him to appear in person, he has refused.

I said bank records.

Then, Don jr. didn't commit a crime.

Mueller can appear before Congress as he chooses, but he cannot tell them everything he knows...only what he is allowed, by law, to tell them.

Mueller found no evidence of crimes to "indict Trump, Jr. or others".
Mueller can't indict Trump.

Your other points are just your opinions which don't really matter.

Don’t be so sure that they were mistakes. Mueller is a Republican who was appointed by Republicans who were hand-picked by Trump.

I think Mueller's biggest mistake was not to more clearly explain to the sub-species we have in this country that this is now a matter for Congress to investigate. Oh - and the SDNY. Good thing they're both doing it.
