Trump says he would accept dirt on political rivals from foreign governments

No, because the question was not whether he would use false information reportedly gathered by foreign intelligence and Russia, but whether he would report true information from a foreign source.

I did not hear the bolded expressed. Neither did you.

So this means we won't hear **** about the Steele dossier ever again from Trumpsters on this board, right?

Cool. Perfect juxtaposition to the post under yours.

Every day, every night, probably every waking minute, millions upon millions of Democrats are shocked, horrified, outraged and stunned - by reality. How does a person even have a conversation with people who live in a constant delusional state and can not accept that reality even exists?

At least you apparently admit true is irrelevant to you. But that is consistent with the Democratic Party's open war on truth.

Again, there was no expression made about the truthfulness of any information. That's your unfounded assertion.

Its because they're so desperate to get something...anything on Trump. They've lost the whole BS "Trump is a Russian asset" thing with Mueller's fiasco ended.

And by the way, the Hillary campaign paid over a million dollars for second hand Russian dirt on Trump. Then, Obama's flying monkeys used it to get a search warrant on the Trump campaign. Which will all be coming to light soon.

The President said he would break federal law and claimed the FBI director doesn't know the law.

That's worthy of comment.

If Obama did that, you'd lose your mind.

Don't fall for the BS.

It doesn't matter whether the un-American traitor thinks it's true or not (like the moron would know). It's against the law and against everything our forefathers fought and died for...

IMO, so long as Trump continues to attack black and brown skinned people, the majority of his base could care less.

I think you might want to listen

-not-

I will listen to

Do you understand the difference between the words " I think you might want to" and " I will listen to"?

The article has the writer saying " President Donald Trump says he would listen" but then quotes the President as saying "I think you might want to listen," Then quotes Trump "I think I'd want to hear it"

So the CNN writer makes definite accusations on what Trump said but then shows that Trump actually says he just thinks he might, my turn to be a source policeman

CNN :lamo:lamo:2rofll:

A source policeman wouldn't be arguing semantics and would post the ABC video.

He's literally soliciting more Russian help and another subsequent 'witch hunt'.

I know! He should just solicit them through a couple of intermediaries, then everything would be fine!

~ Trump forgot to add he would hire an ex British Agent to make up a dossier with the information . 📝:banned::happy:

I hadn't considered that.

It is a solicitation.

If you held anymore water for Trump I would think you were a bucket.

Sure, nothing valid to add so lets attack the poster, you say progressive but you are using a liberal tactic.

Not arguing, just pointing out the obvious of the wording of the CNN snippet.

~ After what we have all witnessed about the upper echelon of the FBI/DOJ. I don't blame Trump if he doesn't trust anyone .

No Rower would want Trump to call the FBI on the Russians.

No Putin-Trump Rower would be so disloyal as that.

Making America Russia Instead they are. And opening the US election process to any foreign enemy who wants to attack it. Any one or more of 'em. Trump just told 'em to do it. The Rowers are meanwhile doing what Rowers do -- they're rowing. And cheering.

And pulling the CIA from North Korea.

Maybe the Senate will vote him out.

First Kim Jong-un was a sick rocket man and now Trump is in love with Kim Jong-un (he got so many beautiful letters from Kim). That's fishy, but trumpsters don't care about it. Loving dictator like Kim Jong-un is just pure insanity.

Trump has shown the world that he does not subscribe to the law and will intentionally break it. This is the very rejection of norms that is so terribly damaging to our nation. This proves - yet again - that Trump must be removed ASAP.

I will leave it to the professionals to determine WHY Trump takes this position. Is he mentally damaged and thus mentally ill or is he simply immensely narcissistic and rejects anything that does not benefit him and that includes the law? Or is it a combination of both?

Right now it does not matter as we have his own words that he would violate the law and do it again.

Trump must be removed ASAP.

Ah there was no qualifier like true or false and how the heck would Bozo the President know what was true or false anyway?

Just for clarity, the proper actions for a candidate contacted by a foreign representative offering campaign information often referred to as opposition research info would be to call the Federal Election Commission and they would call the FBI. Not to suggest that Trump would consider calling anybody other than Kushner and Trump Jr or some other Trumpian slug.

In addition and lets get real...Trump is encouraging election opposition from foreign representatives. So he is wayyyyyy past the question of what you would do when one contacts you with election campaign information.

That's just pathetic; but hey, keep playing semantics, it's fun to watch.

That delusional person is your 'president' who lives in a bizarro bubble-world that few normal people recognise. His 'reality' is that of a schizophrenic's who doesn't understand how damaged he is, but only recognises his own 'reality' as truth. Everyone else is out to get him; in Trump's case deservedly so. If people can't recognise the damage he is doing I don't know what to say anymore. Is this the new reality for America? God help us all.

But having that contact doesn't appear to be illegal, since we already know one candidate who did such things remains untouched and continues to generate some cash on the speaking tour racket.
