Step 1: Pay No Taxes, Step 2: Lay off Thousands of Workers...

If you vote Republican you support making it easier for corporations to be sleazy. That's what I meant. Do you vote Republican?

Another swing and a miss...

You said I support the policies that allow corporations to skirt paying taxes.

Cornered you start blathering about the GOP and Republicans....

Are all Republicans the same? Do all support IBM not paying federal taxes?

If they do (and we both know they don't) what does the mean to someone registered as independent for decades?

You can stick your dishonest broad brush.

I said "why support making it easier for corporations to be sleazy" (because, they are prone to being sleazy.)

Republicans do make it easier for corporations to be sleazy, in many ways, including their tax policy.

As for being registered independent, that's only relevant if you actually vote 3rd party. I vote Green because to be clear, I think Dems are too corporate friendly too. If you actually do vote against Republicans NP, I retract what I said. But, if you vote for Republicans there is no reason why I should retract what I said.

I vote the issues, not the party.

You still haven't provided justification for claiming I support corporations being "sleazy".

Knowing why they didn't pay taxes is not "supporting" a policy in any way, shape or form.

The posturing on the forum leads one to believe you support the GOP. If you don't that's cool, but you do defend them and Trump in almost every thread.

Doing that is not consistent with someone against corporate malpractice.

And more ASSumption as to my stance IRT corporations acting "sleazy".

Do you believe that support for the GOP is support for corporations acting sleazy?

IBM Paid $0 In Taxes Thanks To Trump Tax Cuts. Now It’s Laying Off 1,700 Employees.

IBM Paid $0 In Taxes Thanks To Trump Tax Cuts. Now It’s Laying Off 1,700 Employees.

Stories like this poke glaring holes into the GOP narrative that "this is the best economy we've seen in 30 years." etc. It certainly doesn't feel like it for ordinary people. Check that out, IBM's stock increased 16% this year, and it lays off 1,700 employees. That's why celebrating gains in the stock market is so out of touch. Celebrating those gains is celebrating the gains of hedge fund managers and stockbrokers, woo hoo! Finally, Wall St. gets a break.

Democrats offered the Republicans an amendment that would have sunsetted the tax cuts if corporations failed to create jobs, Republicans turned it down, because not even they believe their bull****. Trickle down fails again.

I really feel that investors are being ****ing reckless. Yes, they are buying stocks back, inflating stock values, and think the Fed and Trump will insulate the market, so they are very optimistic, until they will not be anymore. But they will be fine, even if they start to panic, and the market melts down again, they get another bail out.

Average people in America keep falling further and further behind. We lost more wealth in the last recession than we have rebuilt and recovered.

Yes, it's truly troubling. The top 1% does better and better each year and the people get crumbs. The politicians keep everyone fighting amongst each other through a complicit media and make sure no one who would actually fight for the people gets near power.

It is your accusation.

It is your burden of proof.

Lay on MacDuff.

Well, the first point that comes to mind, why didn't the Trump tax law actually fix the corporate loopholes that Trump touted it would be fixing?

Not just Amazon: 60 big companies paid $0 under Trump tax law

That’s more than three times the number of companies that avoided paying corporate taxes on average from 2008 to 2015. During that period, 18 companies managed to pay 0% or less (with their total average effective tax rate over 8 years being roughly -4%).

“There are a lot of breaks and loopholes that allow a company not to pay,” Steve Wamhoff, ITEP’s Director of Federal Tax Policy, told Yahoo Finance. “People, when they think of tax reform, think the government is going to fix the tax code and get rid of breaks and loopholes and get rid tax dodging. What we got at the end of 2017 was not that. It was the opposite of that. The Tax Cuts and jobs act left a lot of special breaks and loopholes in place and created some new ones.”

And one more post where you do not support your claim.

I'm not Trump. I have nothing to do with his tax law (which had nothing to do with your ignorant OP)

Debating someone who just moves the goal posts out to Mars is pointless

So why do you keep moving the goalposts?

You accused ME of supporting that which I do not support.

Then you babbled about the GOP and Republicans instead of showing where I supported anything.

Then you babbled about Trump and HIS laws instead of showing where I supported something.

All because you lack the ability to admit you spoke out your ass.

And exactly what part of Trump's tax cuts allowed IBM to pay zero taxes? Labor411? FAKE NEWS.

What did I "make up"?

Wait.

This is another talk out your ass moment. Isn't it?

Your just creating your own narrative to posture.

You won't cop to supporting the tax law cause it's game, set, match and you know it.

Your telling me if I went back to 2017, I would find Fled arguing against passing the tax law that has "nothing to do with you"?

Your claim.

More TOA.

IBM has been hurting every since they told Bill Gates, "sure, you can have all the rights to the software. We only care about the PC." IBM gave away trillions of dollars - just gave it away for nothing.

Can't save a company that did that, a company that arrogant and reckless both at the same time. "Sure, Mr. Gates (the young college dropout) you can have all the rights to the software." Gates didn't even create the software and IBM tinkered it up to being usable. Then just gave it to Gates. He had bought it off some other guys for $30,000.

If I go searching for posts of you defending the tax law of which there are probably only 7,600, that's it, you support corporate sleazes and you might as well put it in your signature

All the mega billion dollar companies paid no taxes under Obama and were laying off people too. This story is nothing.

"Sleazy corporations are gonna sleaze, which is why I don't know why you would support making it easier for them to sleaze."

Please show where I SUPPORT "making it easier for them to sleaze."
