If Democrats really believed Trump had committed Conspiracy or Obstruction, Why would you lead off your Impeachment Hearings with John Dean who was convicted for his cover up in the 1970s Watergate scandal. He is a convicted felon, a CNN commentator, who has compared every president with his and Nixon's criminal activities, has no evidence, was not involved in any investigation, and has no connection to the Mueller report?

Because this is how desperate Democrats have become. Its a joke at best. John Dean was the architect of the Watergate scandal. He was disbarred and sent to prison for his crimes during the Nixon administration.

Democrats don't have the balls to attempt an Impeachment so instead of subpoenaing the first logical witness (Mueller) who is the architect of the report and the lead investigator, or any attorney on the special counsel or any FBI investigator, or any former witness, they bring in a CNN commentator? Unfortunately for Democrats, their asinine attempt to put on this clown show wasn't aired because of the Helicopter crash in New York.

Who are the Democrats going to bring in next, Whitey Bulger? Jerry Nadler is an embarrassment to this country.

Well actually as it turns out Whitey Bulger did in fact send a bunch of letters from prison praising Donald Trump. If Whitey Bulger is an admirer of yours that's not a good sign that you're an innocent man.

John Dean as a part of the Nixon cover up has a lot of expertise in how to go about it. That makes him well qualified to explain why the things this administration are doing wreak of guilty. It's like bringing in a professional hacker to test the security on your website. The guy knows what he would have done if he was trying to cover up a crime, and that makes him very good at pointing out the things Trump is doing to cover up his crimes.

Smell the silly desperation in this post! Trump is guilty because Bulger admired Trump according to wonka? hysterical stuff..............

All you need to do is watch Dean on CNN when he is railing against president Trump.
The guy has zero credibility and absolutely no involvement in the Muller investigation.
His appearance at the hearing was just a dog and pony show! Another fail by the dems.

Did you watch the hearing or did you get your 'news' from FauxNews?

One especially ridiculous moment came from sycophantic Trump supporter Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who listed off a series of tweets that Dean had posted in the past.

After rattling off a long list of Trump's supposed accomplishments in office, Jordan asked Dean: "So I'm just wondering, what were you thinking about when you said [Trump] is 'incapable of accomplishing anything'?"

Dean's response put Jordan in his place and made the entire hearing room burst into laughter.

"I think that under the parliamentary rules of the House, I'm refrained from addressing a full answer to your question," Dean said.

Trump is guilty because Bulger admired Trump

No, Trump is guilty because every single solitary shred of evidence says he's guilty. That's why close to 700 former federal prosecutes signed on to a letter declaring exactly that.

The admiration by Bulger is designed more to help Trump's delusional followers get a clue into what's going on. White Bulger is one of the most notoriously vicious mob bosses in history. If he views Trump as a kindred spirit that should tell you something.

Why is it that all the people who seem to like Trump are horrible human beings? Bulger, Kim Jong Un, Putin, Nazis, Klan Members...

I was kind of wondering the same thing. John Dean has absolutely nothing to do with the Mueller investigation so why have him there at all?

I watched every minute of it. What does that have to do with my post

Dean's response put Jordan in his place and made the entire hearing room burst into laughter.

"I think that under the parliamentary rules of the House, I'm refrained from addressing a full answer to your question," Dean said.

Dean was trying to say he can't answer the question because this was supposed to be a non partisan hearing (parliamentary rules of the House). The laughter was directed at Dean for the stupid comment but I understand why you didn't get that.

Sycophantic Jim Jordan? Really? Thats where we are going now. Jordan called out Dean for what he really is and is good at exposing the BS of Democrats over and over. Just another desperate reach to deflect from the idiocy of calling in Dean for a hearing.

Dean is the perfect example of a flawed human being (as we all are) who made the decision to put his honor and integrity, and his patriotism, ahead of his own personal freedom. When he told the truth, he knew he was going to jail.

I've always said that if you can't serve as a good example, the least you can do is serve as a cautionary tale.

:wink2:

I realize Liberals have problems understanding how the rules of evidence or the law works so I will help you out. Any comment from Dean is nothing but hear say. If you were looking for an expert who's testimony could lead to a conclusion or a charge you would bring in an investigator who actually investigated the crimes. Not a 3rd party nobody from the 70s who's testimony can't provide you with a single crime you could charge someone for.

It shows the real idiocy of the Democratic party to even consider this testimony to have any value.

The America electorate will impeach Trump in Nov 2020.

Yet you overlook all of these 700 to call Dean to the stand?

That would tell a Liberal something. Not educated individuals.

had you watched the judiciary hearing you would not have made the obvious error of insisting dean went to prison

who better than a legal insider of the watergate scandal, the man who blew the whistle about that insidious act and its coverup, than the republican lawyer who participated in it

he made various valid comparisons of the white house wrongfulness now compared to the legal and unethical violations of the nixon presidency then

it's available on youtube. over four hours of testimony damning of the tRump presidency for its actions against the interest of the American people

dean's testimony, comparing the nixon whitehouse violations and coverup to those of the tRump whitehouse were quite illuminating. too bad you failed to watch them for yourself

Bwahahahhahahahah1!!!!

The Education Gap That Explains American Politics - The Atlantic

According to exit polls, 61 percent of non-college-educated white voters cast their ballots for Republicans while just 45 percent of college-educated white voters did so. Meanwhile 53 percent of college-educated white voters cast their votes for Democrats compared with 37 percent of those without a degree.

Dean didn't come forward. He was caught. He was involved with the Watergate burglaries and the Watergate scandal cover-up. Considered to be the "master manipulator of the cover-up" by the FBI he pleaded guilty to a single felony count in exchange for becoming a key witness for the prosecution. This ultimately resulted in a reduced prison sentence, which he served at Fort Holabird outside Baltimore, Maryland.

So lets no try and make some hero out of this guy.

Whitey Bulger is dead, so no, nobody will bring him in. And what does a man who was convicted of 15 murders have to do with this story anyway? Is Trump being investigated for murder, or did you just confuse yourself?

dean's testimony before the judiciary committee was found to be consistent with the information later revealed by the secret nixon tapes

The Whitey Bulger comment was satire. You don't remember Buger writing letters to Trump?

There were at least two seasoned prosecutors on that panel who have obviously read the Mueller report. Along with the now more than 1,000 who signed that letter of condemnation regarding the very conclusive obstruction evidence detailed in Volume II, they all say the same thing: if Trump was not the sitting president, he would be indicted and awaiting trial. The Oval Office is all that stands between Trump and an orange jumpsuit.

I wonder whether Michael Cohen will wind up in the same boat once his prison term is up. His honesty at his House hearing did not erase what he had done for tRump, but he did paint a very vivid picture of a man who was a mob boss in everything but the name.
