PS for the 500th time, I didn't vote for Trump, so... I posted more than a few "AH HELL NO" on Trump during the primaries threads. Go do somehomework, and stop jumping to conclusions.

You live in a fantasy world where AOC is somehow the face of the DNC. It is smart to completely ignore the rest because you don't have the self awareness and can't be honest with yourself about the real issue. I don't care if you voted for Trump you should be actively trying to take your party back if you believe it has been taken over by an immoral, racist piece of garbage. You didn't vote for Trump so who do you hope primaries him and takes the party back to a party of people that care about character?

She talks a lot and that's it she has no real power, you can ridicule me in a few years if I am wrong and she really does become the face but I don't see it.

Why don't you address how your party cares about character yet elected a racist, immoral piece of garbage? Remember when Obama was making a fool of America because of a tan suit? It lowered our standing in the world because it wasn't power blue, fun times. Hypocrites.

So you have 2 citations that Perez says she is the FUTURE of the party, (the chair of the DNC understandably likes someone who brings young people to the polls) one from Michael Moore whose opinion I am sure you entirely agree with otherwise, and an op ed. I don't think this adds up to she is running the party, or is the spokesperson for the party, or anything close to that.

I liked that tan suit much better than the extra long red tie. Infinitely better than the much too tight white tie outfit.

Well I'm not calling her that in a vacuum, was the point, a lot of talking heads are calling her that, whether she is or not, her "brand of progressive" has sway and she's the loudest mouth as it were.

JMR, the point of those, was that I'm not calling her that in a vacuum, a quick google search shows NYT and well known figures of the DNC call her that. Ergo, I'm just going with what DNC members are saying. Take the issue up with them not me.

Not a fan, at all, that's for sure. But I think she was just a bit off trying to make a point. It happens. I think she should slow down a bit before she speaks, but lets face it. Whether it is AOC, BHO, DJT, HRC, depending on what side you are on, you'll find something to bicker about. Heck, we are all so perfect and know all the law and all the details and never make a mistake.

The best of what you put out there is that she is a new face (and quite popular) and the future (brings in lots of voters). She has the power of a freshman representative otherwise, except the right has endowed her with the supernatural powers of running the democratic party. Any and all democrats will tell you that is not the case....Fox News loves her, always in need of a boogie man (woman) and tries to cast all democrats as followers of her views. I think they might have picked the wrong person to play this political game.

She is guilty of being a passionate firebrand. She is also a lawmaker and needs to slow down and consider the domino effect of her ideas.
