Because you have nothing better.
Nice dodge!
Because you have nothing better.
Nice dodge!
By Florida law, what percentage is required to pass such a law?
No distraction and not a debate. You jumped into a conversation, misinterpreted what was said, and posted an unnecessary (and looong winded) correction.Oh, I impressed by your clever wordsmith tactic as a distraction from your noticeable lack of debating skills!
I suppose that I could have couched my rebuttal in a less negative manner, but there really was no reason to since you were the instigator.I especially like your use of negative words directed at me to build up your fragile ego which has been deflated by your lack of debating skills!
Congratulations on translating the meaning of my chosen screen name. It wasn’t difficult, but you’re the first to do it.https://www.irishslang.info/meath/meath/rale-bulgarian
:2wave: uncivilized character
Proud of all the Irish blood that's in me...
So I'll leave you with this...
"May the Road Rise Up to Meet You" - Meaning of Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

In your opinion what is the most distasteful thing you've heard our now president utter?
For me it was candidate trump inviting our worst adversary, russia, to look into his opponent's (enemy's) emails. Russia if you're listening...
That should have sent alarm bells ringing across the country, instead the folks on the right with their hatred of 'the libtards' cheered and chanted lock her up.
Disgraceful, how far the GOP has fallen.
And before folks start the TDS stuff maybe you should look at yourselves and ask why would I vote for a person inviting a foreign state to meddle in our elections? And not just any foreign state, russia.
FACT CHECK: Hillary Clinton's Popular Vote Win Came Entirely from California
oops don't know what happened but the link was wrong in my post hoping this one is correct.

Sixty percent because florida is and has been controlled by republicans. In the medical marijuana vote when it passed the second time around the republicans then imposed you can't smoke bud rule. Why? Because they claim smoking is bad for a person...but they didn't outlaw cigarettes. They tied a no vaping bill to an offshore drilling ban to once again get a jab in at smokers. We just passed giving felons back the right to vote. After it passed our republican state then imposed more blocks to vote that weren't on the original amendment.

Did you even happen to notice that the intended recipient of my post didn’t speak up to say my interpretation of his prior post was wrong?
No, because you were too busy trying to impress everyone with your expansive knowledge of the Electoral System. A sad, but common attention seeking behavior often displayed by those with fragile egos. Trump frequently does the same thing.
I suppose that I could have couched my rebuttal in a less negative manner, but there really was no reason to since you were the instigator.

Thanks for this tidbit. So we can safely conclude that if we were to remove CA. from the equation, DJT would have won the popular vote.
Oh, but thank God for the EC!!!
Sorry, for this necessary (and looong winded) correction
1. No distraction and not a debate. You jumped into a conversation, misinterpreted what was said, and posted an unnecessary (and looong winded) correction.
Yes, I did jump into the conversation between you and jimbo. Is that a forum no no?
I did not misinterpret what you said. You misinterpreted what jimbo said. I did not post a long winded correction in my first response to you.
Forum History refreshers:
RaleBulgarian QUOTE: "History refresher; Clinton won the popular vote. She didn’t lose the EC vote because of any one statement either. Please brush up on facts before opining next time."
My short and not longwinded response to you when I jumped in follows...
"History refresher;
The EC vote is the only way to get elected to be The POTUS.
Until, there is a Constitutional Amendment to amend that fact the popular vote is just a political talking point and remains useless to get one elected to be The POTUS.
Doesn't matter how she lost the EC vote.
All that matters is that she lost the EC vote and that is why she is not The POTUS today."
Your response to me
"What caused you to think I didn’t already know that? Are you always so presumptuous?"
My short response to you...
I can't read your mind.
I read what you posted and based on what I read... You mentioned the popular vote as a history refresher, as if it was a factor in the election of The POTUS.
So, I simply provided my two cent knowledge on the subject.
Thank You for letting me know that you already knew about that, so now you can simply disregard my two cents based on your knowledge.
By the way, why did you mention the popular vote as if it mattered in the election of The POTUS when it doesn't matter?
Now to who misinterpreted jimbo's post to your post...

And even today 3 years later the left still hasn't learned the lesson. There's good reason to assume Hillary lost at least enough votes with that one statement to cost her the election. Guess what? Those illiterate, shockingly gullible, bigot loving, knuckle dragging idiots, aren't going to vote for a D candidate in 2020 either.

Sorry, for this necessary (and looong winded) correction part 2
2.Did you even happen to notice that the intended recipient of my post didn’t speak up to say my interpretation of his prior post was wrong?
Perhaps, you missed his response to your post because he did respond
jimbo's QUOTE: "History refresher. President Trump resides at 1600 Penn Ave. Anybody know where whoever came in second now resides?"
The height of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
NOTE jimbo did respond to you with a fact. And then a question about who came in second.
NOTE: No use of the word assume in this response which you missed in his previous post.
3.No, because you were too busy trying to impress everyone with your expansive knowledge of the Electoral System. A sad, but common attention seeking behavior often displayed by those with fragile egos. Trump frequently does the same thing.
Wow, you have no idea what I busy myself with and it is not trying to impress people.
I busy myself with investigation to present facts. I read posts carefully because words used matter. I read your posts and noticed a pattern. I checked out your screen name to see if it fit your pattern of posting. And it did. You are here playing a role.
The following information is an example of your role which I noticed and had fun playing you.
I posted to Trix and you jumped in with the following post... Hello fellow instigator.
"An interesting bit fictional interpretation. Completely unbelievable, but Trumpsters don’t care about facts or truth."
I responded "No big deal. I don't think like you and I am very content with my thought process.
And your condemnation of my thought process is just a talking point without any substance of fact or truth and I find it completely unbelievable and a non-interesting bit of fictional interpretation.
NOTE: I mimicked some of your wording.
You responded
"Self confidence is a healthy thing. Stating opinion as fact without any proof, as you did, is just bloviating."
Another one of your responses to me...
"Funny, and a little sad, for someone as loquacious as you to not have understood what jimbo meant by his brief comment, or me by my brief response.
Maybe if you spent less time trying to impress everyone with your long winded posts, and more time ensuring that you’ve properly comprehended others comments, you wouldn’t feel compelled to compose yet another long winded post to spin your way out of your original misunderstanding.
Remember, succinctness and accuracy are more impressive than obnoxious bloviating. Give it a try."
imho Your main purpose seems to be role playing your uncivilized character and not so much debate in search of facts.
And you are very good at that and when you challenged me I played along and didn't back down and shut up but confronted your uncivilized charater and had fun doing it.
4.I suppose that I could have couched my rebuttal in a less negative manner, but there really was no reason to since you were the instigator.
I'll believe you could/would have couched your rebuttal in a less negative manner when you take back your excuse for your uncivilized manner> me being the instigator as your reason and choice for your negative posts to me. Unless you are admitting that I have that kind of control over you.
Do I have that kind of control over you?
5. And thank you for the thoughtful poem.
Your Welcome for the thoughtful poem.

Anyone who can't discern a joke from an invitation should probably not be allowed to vote.
Just a thought.....
A 'joke' ? That was no joke, although he gave you Trumpers a reason to excuse his action by saying it with a smirk. He wasn't joking.
There's just so many scary, frightening, worrisome things that Trump has said that it's hard to choose just one or two. One of the most telling, but not the most frightening things he's every said is; "If it was up to me, I'd bring back waterboarding and I'd bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding."
For me the scariest thing he's said is when President Xi Jinping of China was visiting Mar-a-Lago and he said, "He's now president for life. President for life. No, he's great. And look, he was able to do that. I think it's great. Maybe we'll have to give that a shot some day."
Sure it was. But it is entertaining to see heads explode on the left. I never knew how easy that was accomplished. I'm thinking it's from an indoctrination thing, but I'm not sure yet.
Was your selfie gif from last night?
LOL, you're funny! I usually get a great laugh at your comments.
Well, there you go, fifty nine percent is less than sixty percent.
Yes it is. Your math is exceptional. Somehow though, I'm not real comfortable with the idea that the vast minority gets to make the rules and further, nobody should be good with that idea.
Anyone who can't discern a joke from an invitation should probably not be allowed to vote.
Just a thought.....
They had already been accused of hacking, and Obama, apparently aware, did nothing.
But it is entertaining to see heads explode on the left. I never knew how easy that was accomplished. I'm thinking it's from an indoctrination thing, but I'm not sure yet.

Do us all a favor and present a hypothetical scenario in which ANY sitting Democratic president attempts to "do something" while in the last weeks or months of an election featuring Donald Trump who brays continually about the Democrats "rigging the election".
How would that "do something" effort look, sound and proceed? Now make it Obama and not just a generic Democrat.
Yeah sure...
Sixty percent is NOT a vast minority.
That's not a funny joke, not in any rational universe. It falls into roughly the same category as joking about bombs while boarding a plane. Just a thought? You might want to revisit your "just a thoughts".
By the way, DID you say that you grew up in the 50's/60's?
