Straight Pride Parades

Next, imagine people of normal intelligence getting upset about the attention the Down Syndrome people are getting. They organize a counter-parade called the "Normal IQ Pride Parade".

Think about the reaction. They would be stealing the thunder from those that need the charity and attention - the 'marginalized', the 'special'. This is the concept by which a Straight Parade is frowned upon.

Pretty much. Counter-Pride gatherings are judged based on perceived superiority of the counter group, as a function of the perceived inferiority of the original Pride group. Some examples:

Black Pride parade forms. No problem, it's viewed as an inferior, marginalized group. White Pride parade forms next to it. Big trouble.

Cherokee Pride parade forms. No problem. Lakota Pride parade forms next to it. No problem there either - both are viewed as marginalized groups.

Black Pride, and Latino Pride next to it. No problem - both marginalized. Latinos chastised and corrected to a "Latinx" parade.

White Pride parade forms by itself. Not a marginalized group - therefore no parade required. It's looked on as gratuitous and provocative.

It's easy to transfer the logic to see the emotional dynamic between a gay and straight parade.

Since when do you need to overcome obstaes to have a pride parade? Seems the left, in its parade demanding tolerance isn't very tolerant of others. This is as hypocritical as it gets. Also...the lgbtqrstuv or whatever they call themselves now were invited to participate.

That is a heterophobic comment. At no point was this parade for that reason. The gay community was invited to participate and show solidarity of intolerance....instead the group that demands intolerance is suddenly intolerant.

Since the city of boston is holding back the permit. They are about to lose a discrimination case if they don't do it. That's what caused the buzz about it here in Boston. The intolerant democrants won't grant the permit.

I literally just asked you. You were responding to my previous comments in which I asked. The question stands. Let's see who the real bigots are. I already informed you all that the gay community was invited to participate in a show of solidarity to end intolerance. Why are you intolerant of hetero pride?
