It's called nuance laws. Post where someone gets cancer from second hand loud music.... that standard doesn't apply.
To many with allergies the smell of smoke is enough to cause issues. They have a right to not be sick in their own home. I quit smoking about 15 years ago, to many who just quit the smell of cigarette smoke can trigger cravings- especially in your own home where you were used to a morning smoke or one right before bedtime.
Your rights end literally at another's nose... eace
Never heard of nuance laws.
Someone can't tell me that the smell of my cooking in my own home offends them. Someone can't tell me that the smell of my perfume in my own home offends them. Someone can't tell me that my cat makes them sneeze if my cat never leaves my home. Actually, they can tell me, and yet they still have no right to dictate what I cook, what perfume I wear, or what cat I have when I'm in my own home.
Nobody's nose has a right in the home I own. Just like I have a right not to demand what you do, smell like, eat, cook, or wear in your home. It's yours.
Sorry this confuses you.
