Why Does The Left Like to Compare U.S.A's Healthcare to Europe, But Not Education?

A lot of European countries have better education no?

He means that the US spends more and gets no better (or worse) results with it's "single-payer" K-12 education system than most European countries do.

I am all for a K-16 type program, providing that after 12th grade the students reach a threshold of minimum attendance and don't just half ass their way through it.

No one party "controls education". It's not like government is divided up into Democrat responsibilities and Republican responsibilities. That's not how our system works.
