Republicans love to get the economy humming by fueling it with debt. But it always blows up in their face. Boom Bust cycle

Trump is doing it as we speak. Talks about how great the economy is while adding a trillion dollars to our federal debt annually. I believe that is called stimulus. Something Republicans hated when Obama tried it. Now not a peep out of those alledged conservatives about the debt.

But despite all this stiff competition, Jim Hoft (aka Gateway Pundit) stands out as uniquely incompetent. Hoft runs with (or spawns) almost every inane story that bubbles up in the conservative blogosphere, has proven that he has absolutely no vetting process for the sources he cites, and apparently has a hard time with basic reading comprehension.

The facts are diametrically opposite of the OP. Although, readers do not have to wonder why there are alternative facts, just read about the OP source Jim Hoft. Hoft is so full of B.S. that Republicans are beginning to ostrisize him.

Yes the horrible truth about Trump is beginning to spread to the non- readers or politically un-interested people. Facts that readers of political interest already know about Trump and his corrupt life.

So now Trump supporters are grabbing for straws as their man sinks. And one of the favorite deflections is lies about Obama.

The humiliation would be yours. This is a ultra right wing rag's interpretation of Fed Numbers without any underlying Fed Facts to support them. You should feel humiliation for trying to palm off such nonsense. EVERY fair economic review of President Obama's administration clearly shows it save the US and the World from a economic melt down in spite of Republican resistance and their vow to make him a one term President.

Just released? All those data have been available for years.
And I can’t find anywhere at the St Louis Fed site that collection of charts released together in that way. So it looks like a cherry-picked collection designed to attack Obama.

Are the data true? Sure. But that those particular indicators were not in a good direction does not mean the economy as a whole was bad.

Let’s look st the chart I already know well enough to see the errors right away: Labor Force Participation.
Out of the adult civilian non-institutional population (age 16+ not in military, prison, nursing home, mental institute, or other long-term care institution) this is the percent working or actively trying to work.

For just Obama’s term:

A lot of Republicans loved to point out that it was the lowest participation rate since 1978, but failed to mention it was higher than any time before that.

The participation rate has more to do with demographics than the state of the economy
