'''Arthur'''s''' Gay Wedding Episode Banned by Alabama Public Television

Alabama’s at it again. According to a report from AL.com, Alabama Public Television chose not to broadcast the Season 22 premiere of Arthur, which included the same-sex wedding of beloved elementary school teacher Mr. Ratburn.

Rather than airing the episode as scheduled, APT Director of Programming Mike McKenzie opted to show a rerun from a previous season.

“Parents have trusted Alabama Public Television for more than 50 years to provide children’s programs that entertain, educate and inspire,” Mckenzie tells the site. “More importantly — although we strongly encourage parents to watch television with their children and talk about what they have learned afterwards — parents trust that their children can watch APT without their supervision. We also know that children who are younger than the ‘target’ audience for Arthur also watch the program.”

Conservatives where you at to rail against censorship?

Remember, if you pretend gay people don't exist, eventually they'll go away.

The gay does not exist. The gay does not exist.

Can't see no gay round those hills, nor round yonder fields. Ain't no gay to be seen round here Alabama. Nope, no gay at all.

*turns on Arthur visiting relatives up north*

My god....

Arthur's new episode is all to further convert the USA's children into being gay! Mwahahahaha!

It's a stupid move for AL.

However you would still be able to watch it off the PBSKIDS website if it was something you felt important for your kids to watch.

It's a part of the Gay Deep State's plot, step 1. gay the cartoons, step 2. gay the kids, step 3... profit.

The gay does not exist. The gay does not exist. The gay does not exist. The gay does not exist.

These are not the gays you are looking for....move along, move along.

Alabama Public Television probably found that episode just as sensitive as "Unplanned" adverts were for nearly all TV networks.

"Commercials for Pure Flix's 'Unplanned,' arriving in 1,000 theaters on Friday, have been rejected by Lifetime, Hallmark Channel, HGTV and several other cable networks other than Fox News.
... outside of the Fox News Channel, every other mainstream television outlet has declined to air the ad.

Lifetime, for example, told the film's marketers that they declined to air the commercial due to the "sensitive nature of the film ..."

A network choosing what to air and what not to is incomparable to people being denied access to platforms.

So, you support people being denied access to platforms on Twitter, Youtube, etc.?

No. Those are platforms which anyone is supposed to have access to. They shouldn’t be allowed to dictate what people are and aren’t allowed to say.

There’s no similarity to a TV network choosing not to broadcast something.

Amazing. Simply amazing. I can't believe this is happening in 2019. Why the hell would anyone care what somebody else watches on TV? It's insane.

Apparently The Christian Republic of Alabama would not approve
