The left is all in for diversity. Then lets have diversity in colleges. We need to insist that all colleges have at least 50% of conservative professors.

As 50% of Americans are not conservative, your suggestion would not broaden diversity. Also, it would be creating another quota system.:2no4:

Well, I can say from experience that it does take some time for many college graduates to realize just how full of fecal material many of their professors were.
Those professors, like some elite media types, live in little bubbles of leftist progressive ideology, far removed from reality.
It’s sad, really.

If Ben Carson ever lectures about lacto-ovo vegetarian and the environmental benefits thereof, I'll sign up for the course. Hunky Ben could also teach something about medical things and stuff, but yes, creationism too.

You contest the claim because you (rightly) interpret it as bias against conservative ideology. Then, when it's proven to you, you spin it as "more evidence that conservatives are dumb". :roll:

If 100% of college academics were conservative, I suppose this would be "more evidence conservatism is incestuous and closed-minded". If 50% of academics were conservative, it would be "more evidence that conservatives seeking greater representation in academia hate equality". If 66.6% of academics were conservative, it would be "more evidence conservatives are Devil worshipers".

You can’t diversify university faculty with ignorant and backward people. Most conservative positions are not a matter of opinion, taste, or ideology. They are just based on misinformation, obsolete information, or false information.

No, The Earth is not 6000 years old, and was not created in six days. Climate change is real, man-made, and potentially very dangerous. It is not just a Chinese hoax. Trickle down economics does not work. Being gay is not a choice. Women who are raped can still get pregnant even if they did not “enjoy it”. This is not a Christian nation and the founding fathers did not want religion playing any role in politics. Vaccines are not a plot by big government to keep people stupid and dependent. I can go on and on.

Do you want to diversify with “faculty” who are going to teach such nonsense? If you like listening to that stuff for entertainment, go listen to Fox News. But people pay good money to get an actual education, and it would be a crime to have some faculty teaching them this nonsense.

There is mountains of evidence for it. The problem is you are not educated enough to evaluate the information critically, and you are too stubborn and proud to actually learn. You think some Manhattan real estate huckster knows more about this than the unanimous consensus of every single scientific organization on the entire planet. So no amount of proof or evidence is going to be good enough to get through a skull that's that thick.

Just in case you really are interested in the topic and learning about the evidence, you can read the joint statement from the US National Academy of Sciences and the UK's Royal Society on the subject. I have a pretty good feeling, though, that you will just dismiss it, of course.

Trump is just riding the Obama economic recovery. The only difference is that by cutting taxes he is adding about $1 trillion a year to the deficit, so that next time we go into a recession we don't have any stimulus spending ammo to get us out of it as quickly as Obama was able to last time. Not sure how long he will be able to keep it up.
