Why do some Democrats in the MSM push Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg?

Why do so many Democrats on the MSM - particularly MSNBC and CNN - promote Mayor Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg so hard?

He is a nobody of a small city who has done nothing other than massive failure. Poverty and crime in his city is out of control. Over 25% unemployment - over 1 in 4 don't have jobs. Crime is 250% higher than state average.

As a "leader" he is as much a failure and loser as possible and he was an unknown. So why do MSNBC and CNN give him so much air time? Because he's gay - and MSNBC and CNN are basically the homosexual anchors network.

In the Democratic Party, social divisions are everything, to always be promoted, with one exception.It is acceptable for blacks to say vote for blacks, women to say vote for women, Latinos to say vote for Latinos, and gays to say vote for gays. The only exception is if a white man says vote for white men then he is a KKK white supremacist Nazi who should be fired and ruthlessly harassed and attacked.

Buttigieg gets air time because he's a homosexual - exactly no other reason - and the homosexuals in the MSM and press support their own kind to artificially prove their own kind are inherently qualified because they are homosexuals.

Buttigieg's campaign is simple. "Don't look at anything I've done. All you need to know to support me is that I"m a homosexual and therefore the most qualified. Just ask the homosexual anchors, commentators and reporters." If you say anything negative about my record as mayor this would prove you are a homphobic bigot."

That's all his campaign is, nothing else. "I'm a homosexual so vote for me!"

It is truly amazing that the Democratic Party truly has succeeded in making their campaigns singularly about their racism, bigotry and social divisions.

 
He also gets coverage because he is a white male, and many of these folks believe that's what it will take to defeat Trump. His being gay gives him some minority cred.
 
One gets the sense that you haven't heard the man speak at all. I don't support him and haven't chosen anyone else for that matter, but he is far more impressive than the current occupant of the oval office.

One gets the sense that this screed is based in your anger of not being able to say you prefer a white candidate. I have a solution for you, just vote GOP and watch Fox News if people whose lifestyle and heritage is so offensive to your delicate sensibilities.
 
He's young, a scholar, and a veteran.

So he contrasts with Trump pretty well.

He’s intelligent and well spoken. MSNBC has had a lot of the candidates on so far. If you look back over history. There are a few instances of a nobody winning the nomination. Obama comes to mind, but there were others. That being said it is way too early to say who will be the nominee a year and a half from now.

I have no comment on why CNN and MSNBC are pushing Buttigieg, but I hope they don't stop. :lol:

That greenhorn, still wet behind his ears, hasn't yet accomplished anything in the political/business world - a gay version of Obama, except that the Muslim world would try to stone his husband.


So, let them promote a go-nowhere "presidential" candidate ... that way we will see more screeching from the females in the dem's field. :lamo

He is a pretty impressive person. Speaks something like 7 languages, Rhodes Scholar, articulate. Pretty much what you would have in mind for a presidential candidate.

Still waiting for ANYONE to state ANYTHING he's done that indicates he is qualified to be president. Government sector. Business sector. No one can claim it is his history as mayor - his city has stats approaching Detroit.

Over 25% unemployment. Massive crime rate. That is what he wants to do the entire USA. But he's gay so we got to vote for him or be called a homophobe.

Trump was also a nobody. Hosting a reality tv show doesn't automatically make him 'somebody' of substance, as we have discovered-except, of course, in America, the epicentre of celebrity worship, where an appearance on tv is an indication that you have 'arrived'. Sad.
