Because of book royalties Murray has become independently wealthy, and he can say what he wants. Agreeing with him can harm an academic career.

*shrugs* get better than eugenics propaganda and actually try to find countering sources yourself. This keeps quackery out of the field and keeps academics on their toes. Trying to circumvent this process by crying muh conspiracy deserves to be ignored. Peer review is an incredibly rigorous process. Being wrong need not ruin a life, perpetuating nonsense after being corrected resoundingly by your peers is harmful to one’s carrer.

You're obviously not paying attention to Trump's policies, because ICE is rounding people up and ICE is armed. They are detaining people in prisons, separating families, and deporting people. Of course many of these people have been in the US for years, and own businesses and property in the US, and have children born in the US.

I have every reason to judge Trump and his supporters harshly for this. You seriously look at photos of people coming here seeking refugee, and feel no empathy for them: no empathy for the conditions they live in, no empathy for them separated from their kids, no empathy for their desperation to escape their country. Instead, you people look at them and see a bunch of criminals, deserving harsher policies.

The Warsaw Ghetto was not a concentration camp. It was a ghetto, and you could even call it "temporary housing." The people were held there until the camps were built, and then the ghettos were liquidated to the concentration camps.

Too many here live with their heads in the sand. They say. "I'm not racist." And, then they ignore all the actions of the racists they vote for and support in their daily arguments.

IMO, aligning one's self with racists, politically, is being a racist by default. If someone finds that their guy, party, ideology is agreed to by the KKK, Skin Heads, Biker Gangs, and Neo ****ing Nazis, a person may want to use their brain and ask. "Do I really believe in the same things these nutcases do?"

You seem to be the confused person here. A ghetto is not a concentration camp, and calamity is right that the ghettos were liquidated and people put into concentration camps once the final solution was developed. They were moved in the camps essentially to detain and house them, but total genocide and concentration camps were not planned from the very beginning. Once they were housed in the ghettos and people were moved out of German neighborhoods, genocide became the favored solution to best get rid of them.

Back then, people were worried that the Japanese were enemies of America. The Japanese needed to be investigated and detained for public safety matters "until we figure things out."

You can try to reason this away all you want and you can try to lie to yourself, but not all of those people entered illegally. They legally approached a check point, seeking refugee. That is not a crime. At that point, they are separated and detained. You call them all criminals, because it gives you a reason and excuse for treating them they way you do. Many Trump supporters want them shot and killed.

The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising occurred after the liquidations began, and then word spread of the concentration camps and genocide. It was never intended to be permanent housing. They were put there until the Nazis could figure out the next step. Before the concentration camps, it was debated to send European Jews to parts of Africa.
