If democrats didnt spend all their time spewing hatred at President Trump and anyone connected to him, they might get something done. IMO they are the party of hate. Name anything they have gotten done since President Trump was elected.

They are getting things done. Their job is to resist conservative policies. That's all they care about. Resist until Democrats take over.

Your Lincoln, NE mayor is a Democrat and your city has seen historic growth and development under him.

Weird, almost like you don't even really live there or are too stubborn to thank a Democrat for anything positive. Maybe even both.

Eh he's either a fake or reminds me of one of those guys I see in Lincoln in their overalls ranting to me about how everything is the white man's fault like I give AF. Could go either way with this one.

Growth????? Do you call it growth that a ditch thru town cost over 500 million and stinks to high heaven in the summer. How about an arena that a large part of the population cant afford to go to, and is being paid for by anyone that buys a hamburger in town. Millions spent on "pretty" things. But------------- with all the hundreds of millions spent on down town, the streets all over town have been neglected and are full of pot holes. Is that the "development" you are talking about. He is just another dime a dozen tax and spend democrat. We had to pass an ordinance to get him out of office.

I have been to some great events at the Pinnacle Arena and had a wonderful time downtown in the Haymarket with some locals. My sister lives there and is thriving. I visited the zoo last fall and while it can't hold a candle to Omaha, it was pretty decent and when I went it was under a big expansion. Too bad you're too bitter to see the positives. :shrug:

My streets are also full of potholes, the mayor is spending money to renovate our downtown park, and we have to pay extra taxes too just to eat out. But hey, she's a Republican does she get a pass for her taxing and spending?

Dems were in the minority in both House and Senate after the 2016 election, and only gained the House back after 2018. Taking that into account, they've actually done "okay-ish"? Sadly, too many Dems still voted with Republicans on many Trump appointments early on.

The system has mostly been working, in the sense that the courts, even with justices appointed by Trump, have declared some of what he has tried to do unconstitutional - but, that doesn't change the fact that Trump is horrible, and has tried to do illegal, unconstitutional ****.

You know the old saying, 'no smoke without fire'? You think the animosity toward Trump arose out of a vacuum because Democrats have nothing better to do?

They are after 2 years still whining and spewing hate towards the president because he won the election rather than "her turn" the criminal serial liar Hillary. It been carried on so long it is now a border line mental problem.

Well, if you think it's just sour grapes then your conditioning has worked. Fortunately the rest of the world doesn't wear blinders and recognises a useless loser in Trump.
