What reason does Trump have to play by the rules.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday excoriated Democrats for probing his finances and his administration and declared, "We're fighting all the subpoenas."

"The subpoenas are ridiculous. I have been the most transparent president and administration in the history of our country by far," Trump said, referring to recent moves by House Democrats. Trump spoke to reporters the South Lawn of the White House before departing for an event on the opioid crisis.

Quick question.

Why should Trump obey the law? If he knows that the DOJ can't indict him and knows that Pelosi doesn't want the responsibility of a floor vote for impeachment, and that Congress won't enforce subpoenas, what reason does he have to obey the laws?

He's testing Pelosi and rubbing her nose in her refusal to permit her chairs to inquire about impeachment, and even taking it a step further in refusing to recognize her body as a legal authority to gather documents and testimony.

The longer the House does nothing the weaker Pelosi looks.

President Trump serves at the pleasure of the American people. They can fire him at any time they want. We can do with that power what we want. Today we choose to keep Trump as President.

I think part of the way the Dems can stop him is to cut off his funding. That time has come.
 
It seems unlikely that most Americans will long be satisfied with a self-styled king.

Two of the impeachment charges against Nixon were obstruction of justice and failing to respond to subpoenas.

I don't know. I'd have to think about it. But cutting off the feeding tube in the monster can work wonders.

I think they should start by defunding the DHS and ICE budgets used for building child cages...

Question; is he not allowed to fight against being targeted by what accounts to being a hostile party?

Clinton, Bush and Obama used up those accounts years ago.

Trump kept them in actual rooms, or air conditioned tents for the most part. Wi-Fi & games included.
