Impeach Trump or Not?

Staff can and certainly does look at the fate of those who have blindly carried out Trump's illegal requests. Micheal Cohen is a perfect example. Trump used him and then abused him. When the **** got thick Trump dumped him over the HAT is what Trump does to everyone. EVERYONE. Anyone on Trump's staff who would be willing to do Trump's illegal bidding is damn near as criminal and crazy as he is.

I can't stand Sarah H Sanders. She is a damn liar, and what's worse, she treats reporters like dirt for trying sort through her lies. They have every right to question her for the facts, and not only does she lie, but treats reporters like **** for doing their job.

If you impeach Trump you get Mike Pence, a TRUE conservative.

How would you like that?

Eh as bad as his social conservatism is, theres not much that he can do that is worse at this point. Lets go for it. The investigation clearly gives congress many reasons to impeach.

The House may impeach on principle, but it's common knowledge that the Senate will never convict. But, if we lived in a perfect world and they did the right thing, I would agree with bomberfox. Anyone but Don. As pious as Mike is, I believe he actually loves his country and wouldn't be so quick to sell us out to Putin. Although his social positions stink, it's a question of priorities.

I don't think you understand.

Trump is technically a liberal...

:lamo Trump is technically a mature adult.

As of now, I'm leaning towards impeachment...

Sarah Sanders is a worthless tool. Her current position is the best she will ever have. There will be no stepping stones to a promising career. Her credibility is shot in the ass. She should be fired.

As long as she is willing to continue to bear false witness for Trump she will keep her job. When it ends the best she can hope for is a job lying for Project Blitz.

No entity public or private that values its integrity will hire her nor should they.

From an American point of view, yes he should absolutely be Impeached.

In fact technically it is the responsibility of Congress to impeach in lite of the report.

On the other hand it is close enough to the election that it is probably unnecessary however all the dirt that would surface in the proceedings would help bring him down.

Either way we will be rid of trump and not anywhere near soon enough...

I haven't read the Mueller report but based on reports I tend to believe that it has revealed nothing about Trump's character that would turn his base against him. That would be the only reason to hold an impeachment that cannot in all likelihood survive in the Republican Senate; if the Dems thought that such a dog-and-pony show would alienate Trump's base from Trump.

Recent history would suggest that since it didn't work with Clinton's base, it wouldn't work with Trump's.

Counterpoint: this isn't about Trump's base.

just because Trump's minions weren't as dumb as he is doesn't mean he didn't try. let's not also forget threatening people on Twitter and on television.

Bull****. Trump could have legally fired Mueller any time he wanted. He didnt. And now the same people who tried to frame him on a bogus charge of treason are now trying to nail him with a phony impeachment charge. The guy is innocent

It's not up to me, and like I said, they don't want to go for it, because they think they have more to gain by running against Trump in 2020 than impeaching him

No, they know they cant win. But the party leaders also know that they have to keep their angry, kook base fired up so they will keep dangling the idea of impeachment but will never pull the trigger.

HE LITERALLY TOLD PEOPLE THAT WORKED FOR HIM TO GET THAT **** GONE

if you're too stupid to understand the plainest 7-year-old English that Trump speaks, I don't know what to tell you

So what? Trump can fire anyone in the executive branch that he wants to. Or are liberals 'too stupid' to understand that.

the ability to do it doesn't change the fact that it would be obstruction of justice.

there was no act, it was never carried out so it's missing an act even if there are grounds for it... and I am not saying there are... but that was one of the 3 criteria Mueller claimed was needed for obstruction to occur.

the ability to do it doesn't change the fact that it would be obstruction of justice.

How could it be an obstruction of justice when the prosecutor himself admits the primary charge he was investigating had no merit. Your understanding of justice is fundamentally flawed. Mueller was always and only about providing ground for impeaching Trump. It failed.

this isn't what happened and therefore the rest of your post is irrelevant.

It absolutely did happen. We presume innocence in this country. Mueller knew before he started there was no conspiracy to collude with the Russians. That you won't admit it doesn't mean It's not true. It just means you're wrong.

HAD Trump done it, and HAD Mueller found evidence of criminal conspiracy, it MIGHT have been evidence of Trump trying to obstruct. BUt Trump didnt fire Mueller and Mueller found no crimes committed by Trump. Its over. You just cant come to terms with that.

enjoy living in your fantasy land. we'll all still let you enjoy Socialistland after 2020 because we're not assholes.

I don't mind if you're wrong. You could acquaint yourself with the facts, but I don't insist that you do. You are free, like some others here, to continue to stagger into walls and fall into holes and ditches. I just offered the truth. You might try reading the actual, relevant material sometime instead of swallowing some spinster garbage, but you go, girl. Your understanding of events isn't my problem.

How would he know without conducting an investigation first? Crystal ball? Take Trump's 'word' for it?

You might read the relevant written material discovered before the special counsel was authorized. None of it involves any comment or action by Trump. I'm amazed at how uninformed many on the left here are. At this point I assume it's intentional.

So why was there a two-year investigation then if, as you imply, everything was known beforehand? Communist plot, maybe?

Why don't you read some of Lisa Page's communications, and related ones, and get back to me. Or not. I'm not responsible for your education in the matter.

He said, she said? Not very convincing.

It's congressional testimony summarizing 9 months of FBI investigation. It's not "he said, she said", and I don't need to convince you. It's a matter of record whether you believe it or not.

I agree. IF the Dems spent as much time honestly analyzing what went wrong in 2016 as they to preening before camera making fools of themselves they'd have a much better chance. Forget all that "Russia and Trump cheated" bull**** and dispassionately figure out what Trump offered that Clinton didn't. IMHO they were equally repulsive so it wasn't a popularity poll election. Ironically, as I see it Trump was the one offering REAL "Hope and Change" while Clinton offered "Obama's third term".

Too bad Trump didn't deliver hope and change.

I don't see any Dems making fools of themselves. And did you seriously post that given the fact that we have a toddler in the Oval Office making a fool out of himself every day?
