Many may like Trump, but there is nothing wrong with "Make American Great Again". Two past and much better Presidents used the phrase.

this board is full of it. Now, most Democrats don't make such claims. But plenty do. We have posters who claim that a MAGA hat is the same as the confederate flag. Don't believe me? it is on this thread.

when you misread what I wrote so badly, its really not worth continuing. But for others, I was not smearing Secretary West. I was proving a point that because an agency or business you run is sued for racial discrimination, does not mean you are racist.

It's not worth continuing because you already made up your mind that Trump loves black people and despite never having paid attention, by your own admission, prior to him running, you have made the decision, largely based on the fact that a buddy saw him squiring two black hookers, good enough for you.

I also really don't give a **** at this point if you were smearing Togo West and Eric Holder or not. It was irrelevant to Trump, especially because I never brought up the real estate lawsuits at all.

Of course wearing a MAGA had doesn’t make one a racist. But consider: Trump started his public political life by calling for the execution of five minority youth who were innocent; he then got involved in absurd birther BS about the first black president; he announced his campaign calling Mexican migrants rapists, offering no stats or proof; he then distributed patently false stats on black on white homicide; he lied about Syrian refugee processing; he proposed banning people from the US based on their religion; he said there were Middle Easterners in the migrant caravan and admitted he had no proof; he has slowed down enforcement of civil rights statutes. I doubt that those wearing MAGA hats believe the same racially-tinged baloney that Trump spouts. They are better than he is. Leave them alone or win them over.

As noted elsewhere, Trump’s slogan should be as he preaches, MAHA, make America hate again. Though neither he nor his staff tell us when they believe America was great or how we lost our greatness, he is recalling in his rhetoric a time when annoying blacks, Latinos, gays and women knew their place, and longing for the days when we could demonize Irish, Italian, and Jewish immigrants as he does Muslims and Latin Americans without being called out for it.

Exactly. The woman actually uncovered the soul of the hard left, the naked enjoyment of calling for the mass bullying and humiliation of the lone individual who dissents - the "how dare he think differently than us" worldview.

Had she lived in Oklahoma or Texas. and been screamed in a public place for wearing a "I'm with Her" T-shirt, and threatened with a crowd joining in, and then identified publicly as someone everyone should target for local harassment so as to get her fired and "get her out of our town", rest assured every left of center hair-pulling sob sister in North America would be in the news (and in this thread) having a meltdown about the horror of it all.

She deserves EXACTLY the same kind of vicious bullying and threats she gave to that old guy; hopefully she is located in whatever town she is hiding in and gets more of the same. These people have always deserved "poetic justice" and its long overdue they get some.
