He did worse, he urged the release of illegally obtained emails. “Russia, if you're listening, I hope you’ll be able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” he said, referring to deleted emails from the private account Hillary Clinton used as secretary of State. “I think you’ll probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” He actually invited a hostile foreign power to compromise our nation’s cyber-security! Within 5 hours after he said that, WikiLeaks dumped thousands of emails.

Do you honestly believe the Russians were not going to release any dirt they had on Hillary without Trump asking for it?

The courts are not clandestine meetings and their purpose is to establish justice. Just because information came from a Russian person doesn't make its use wrong. When it's part of a secret collaboration between a candidate and there is the appearance of secrecy, you start to think there's something fishy going on and, in the case of Trump, it's a correct assumption.

As the expression goes in US armed forces planning, "the enemy has a vote." Meaning the enemy has his own plan, counter plan to yours, means, methods, capacity, capability etc to implement and execute their own plan(s). This of course applies to any opponent in any contested space military or civilian. Game plan is the old cliche.

So it does not have to be a vote literally if you get the meaning of the expression. I'd bet you do get its meaning. The Russians may not use this particular expression, however, we can be sure they have its meaning of input regardless, and that inter alia the Russians practice it too. In any or all respects to include cyber.

We saw what happened to Hillary for 25 years of it.

Yet all we've had over there since 2016 are sore winners. You guys actually expected a cakewalk once Trump became Commander Chaos against the Constitution. Now you're pissed to be getting hammered for it.

You will never be able to normalize Russian attacks against US elections. It will never be accepted or acquiesced to. Trump is doing nothing to protect the 2020 election so we are picking up the deliberate slack.

That's nice but the history of so called third party candidates is that each of 'em is a nutcase.

Strom Thurmond in 1948, George Wallace in 1968, John Anderson in 1980 who threw the election to Reagan, Ross Perot in 1992, Nader in 2000 who never meant to tilt the election to Bush but that's what he did he was so stupid about it. By the time the nutcase Trump came along in 2016 the Republican party had become the new 3rd party nutcakes.
