Yes, it was so much better for Trump to stand there with one hand on Putin's penis while dissing our intelligence agencies, only to have the Mueller report prove that Russia did meddle, intentionally and repeatedly.

Wrong. Absolutely wrong.

Obama didn't give a rat's ass about "Russian interference" because that interference wasn't a threat.

And Obama doesn't deserve an excuse about the Russian interference because the fact is, he used it as a tool to prevent Hillary from getting kicked to the curb. When that failed, he used it as a tool to get Trump's win declared invalid. When that failed, he used it as a tool to damage the Trump Presidency as much as possible.

No...Obama doesn't deserve any excuses. That corrupt weasel deserves prison.

I agree. I guess I'd lose against a claim that conservatives and even republicans are more likely socially regressive. Give 'em an extra 5%. I've tried. There's just no denying it. Are we gonna throw another 5% on for Trump supporter (as opposed to merely con or repub)? Let's say 20% of Trump supporters. Now, I understand if they find that offensive, but honestly one in five people, let alone Trump supporters, are racist or sexist or homophobic or Islamophobic or such.

Now, I wouldn't "grossly generalize" or, if that came out of my mouth, I'd stop and not say more. 50% is a gross generalization. 20% might be real.

Pretending she meant all Trump supporters or all republicans or all conservatives is dishonest and serves to mainstream deplorables. Claiming she was calling everyone a bigot (the common word for deplorable) is mainstreaming bigots. It's trying to pretend bigots are just like the republicans.

It's not really different than pretending Trump called nazis "fine people". Only that's accidental mainstreaming done in spite.

I would say the USA and Russia/USSR have been interfering in the election process of other countries since WW2. I would say we have done more interfering than any country with Russia running a close second. We just have a lot more money to buy and support the leaders we want all over the world is why we are #1 and Russia is #2. The entire world has to be laughing their backsides off at how we cry foul when we only get a small taste of what we have been doing since 1945.

Putin did not interfere in our election to help Trump. His main goal was to pay Hillary back for attacking him during his election. Putin doesn't help any leader of another country. What he does do is make people pay who cross him. Anyone who knows Putin will attest to this. Just ask a Russian report who wrote somethin bad about Putin. Oh wait there aren't any because they all mysteriously died. I guess Hillary should consider herself lucky that all he did was school her in how to rig an election on Obama's watch. 2 birds with one stone.

The reason our government is blaming Trump is because they don't want to admit that Putin made a fool out of the sitting president and their shoe in. Not to mention that he single handedly crushed both parties and had a side show elected as president. Plus it would not look good to admit how easily Putin could destroy our corrupt election process and get the American people to vote for his candidate over all others. Talk about making the people of this country and our entire government look ridiculous. Putin is the big winner and the entire USA crushed and manipulated still walking in circles pointing fingers at each other 2 years later while the world continues to laugh at the irony.

What is funny is I know a lot of Trump supporters and none of them fit into the profile I keep hearing here. Most are elderly women who have never gotten as much as a parking ticket or jay walked and sing in church every week. They would take their sweater off and freeze to help someone else. They are educated and informed and before you start talking down Trump to them you better know what you are talking about. I have been caught in that very situation. I drive a lot of them around because my mom is one. These are women that are active in the community and did not fall of the turnip wagon this morning.

I get being republican, I've plenty of conservative positions. But defending Trump is rare for me. Tax cuts, embassy in Israel, against unfair context drops...

I can't defend him mocking the disabled or cheating or any of that stuff.

People shouldn't mock anyone not just people with disabilities. All these double standards are what needs to come to an end. Trump talks with hands and that particular face and hand gesture he uses to make fun of anyone that refuses to address the truth and is trying to avoid controversial issues. Unfortunately for Trump it is the same way people mock the disabled. Trump is not politically correct. personally I will take a person like Trump over all the polished liars who are in office any day of the week.

Actually I was a full blown democrat until Clinton sold the hard working man down the river and showed that the democratic party no longer gives a damn about the common man. Bill Clinton is the real pig who has done more sexually explicit crap than all the stuff Trump is accused of doing and then some.

What's even worse is that after they used this tool...during the election campaign...the people started getting worried and they wanted him to do something about it. So he did. He had Susan Rice tell her people...who were formulating responses to the Russian interference...to stand down. To do nothing.

After all, they very well couldn't use it against Trump if they stopped the interference. Politics overruled everything for them...even American safety and security of our election system.

I don't use the pejorative 'retard', let alone mock the disabled so I am entirely within my rights to condemn such behavior. There's no double standard. I'm a decent person and decent people don't do that. End of standard.
