So it turns out that, indeed, President Trump was not exonerated at all, and certainly not “totally” or “completely,” as he claimed. Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III didn’t reach a conclusion about whether Trump committed crimes of obstruction of justice — in part because, while a sitting president, Trump can’t be prosecuted under long-standing Justice Department directives, and in part because of “difficult issues” raised by “the President’s actions and intent.” Those difficult issues involve, among other things, the potentially tricky interplay between the criminal obstruction laws and the president’s constitutional authority, and the difficulty in proving criminal intent beyond a reasonable doubt.


Still, the special counsel’s report is damning. Mueller couldn’t say, with any “confidence,” that the president of the United States is not a criminal. He said, stunningly, that “if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state.” Mueller did not so state.

This is a little scary. Other posters I respect and crossed over this may have a point that no investigation of a sitting POTUS could ever come to a conclusion of crimes committed. In this is a catch 22 that an active President can't be indicted and yet also cannot be Impeachment without this conclusion.

What you're missing is "his wife" is a political operative, she's a Mercer hired gun in the White House to oversee and protect Mercer interests. Why else do you think tRump keeps her around; the Mercer's gave him 15 Million $$$$ reasons in the last election how many do you think they'll contribute in 20. Kelly Ann is the Mercer Mole, George can say anything he likes, she's not going anywhere.

Irrespective of the Right's MSM Derangement Syndrome the First Amendment guarantees a free press / media. Contempt of the free press /media and the passion to control 'em or to destroy 'em -- for political reasons exclusively -- is contempt of the Constitution and a determined drive to destroy the basic law of the land itself.

No, I'm just wondering why a guy who has zero respect for his wife's career, and has been attempting to destroy it for some time, is such a hero the members of the New Democratic Party.

It's quite confusing, given their claims about women. It leads one to think those claims are bull****.
 
Don't trust either Conway. This is some type of game, though I'm not sure of the goals.

Quaint observations from someone who affiliates with a group that proves it's disdain for the Constitution on a regular basis. Change that affiliation or stop trying to sell a bill of goods. Only those in the bubble buy it.

I feel that way too. This appears to be some sort of contest of egos between George and Kellyanne. Whatever is going on in their marriage is apparently not for public consumption but it's leaking out through George Conway's public statements and tweets.

What you're missing is "his wife" is a political operative, she's a Mercer hired gun, in the White House to oversee and protect Mercer interests. Why else do you think tRump keeps her around; the Mercer's gave him 15 Million $$$$ reasons in the last election how many do you think they'll contribute in 20. What you're missing is that it doesn't matter what his wife does, he has no respect for it, and he is trying to destroy her career.

A real man would recognize that his wife should be supported as an equal, and do nothing to harm her, or her career. A real man with some balls would bite his tongue, rather than try to stroke his own ego and career by attacking his wife to do so.

Given the massive hypocrisy on display by supporters of the NDP occurring by the hour, it's not surprising to see they encourage Conway to continue with such action.

Maybe she's just been a giant embarrassment to him with her blatant lies for two years. It seems that at least one lawyer in the family has some integrity, and it's not Kellyanne.

The news media has reported endlessly about the major leap to the left in what is now the New Democratic Party. It has elected and endorses radicals like AOC, and other socialist Progressives. It seeks to eliminate free speech on College Campuses, on the internet, and in public. It endorses the personal attacks on those it identifies as enemies in both their professional as well as private lives.

These irrefutable facts aren't an opinion, they are demonstrable. Toe the line, or suffer the consequences. That is not the foundational concept of the old Democratic National Committee, that is the rally cry of the New Democratic Party, as confirmed by Eric Holder, and a number of others.

Don't like it? Too bad.
