Barr SMACKS DOWN the Infantile Fake News at Press Conference..naturally.

Wallace has always been a never-Trumper.

Wallace was never a Trumper, but my God, I can't believe she ever called herself a Republican.
I guess the money must be very good in the TDS media.

Do you think Mueller and his team should come out and give their opinions on the report?

They did....with their summaries that was included in the report, that Barr did not release.

If those summaries, which were said to be crafted to be released to the public, are redacted, that is not going to look good for Barr. Well, except to the Trump cultists.

But, you keep believing what you need to believe.

I am waiting to see the report.

Bull****. Madeup nonsense, from the UNNAMED SOURCES of the Fake News.

No "SUMMARIES" were issued by other people.

MUELLER WILL TESTIFY.

The report is PUBLIC NOW.

Apples and quasars.

The Supreme Court trying to apply old constitutional precedent to a new situation and issuing an opinion with as many concurrences and dissents (expressing those theories) is completely different from a President's appointee supplanting the conclusions of an "independent" counsel who himself was appointed specifically to investigate the President and offer conclusions.

Both Mueller's and Barr's "conclusions" are simply legal opinions. To remove a sitting POTUS requires impeachment by the House and conviction in the Senate (by a supermajority).

You have to admit it's FUN, in a "can't turn away from the train wreck" kind of way...

Since the announcement that there would be no further indictments by Mueller, the disappointment of the left has become a pandemic of psychosis - a major swath of Amerca has had a major break with a realty. Nothing Barr does or does not do matters, if he does not prop up their discredited hallucinations.

Reality follows:

…(some) remarks as prepared for delivery:

As you know, one of the primary purposes of the Special Counsel's investigation was to determine whether members of the presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump, or any individuals associated with that campaign, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government to interfere in the 2016 election. Volume I of the Special Counsel's report describes the results of that investigation. As you will see, the Special Counsel's report states that his "investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities."

... As the Special Counsel's report makes clear, the Russian government sought to interfere in our election. But thanks to the Special Counsel's thorough investigation, we now know that the Russian operatives who perpetrated these schemes did not have the cooperation of President Trump or the Trump campaign -- or the knowing assistance of any other Americans for that matter. ...

The Special Counsel's report outlines two main efforts by the Russian government to influence the 2016 election: …

...Indeed, as the report states, "[t]he investigation did not identify evidence that any U.S. persons knowingly or intentionally coordinated with the IRA's interference operation." Put another way, the Special Counsel found no "collusion" by any Americans in the IRA's illegal activity.

...

The Special Counsel's investigation also examined Russian efforts to publish stolen emails and documents on the internet. The Special Counsel found that, after the GRU disseminated some of the stolen materials through its own controlled entities, DCLeaks and Guccifer 2.0, the GRU transferred some of the stolen materials to Wikileaks for publication. Wikileaks then made a series of document dumps. The Special Counsel also investigated whether any member or affiliate of the Trump campaign encouraged or otherwise played a role in these dissemination efforts. ... Here too, the Special Counsel's report did not find that any person associated with the Trump campaign illegally participated in the dissemination of the materials.

Finally, the Special Counsel investigated a number of "links" or "contacts" between Trump Campaign officials and individuals connected with the Russian government during the 2016 presidential campaign. After reviewing those contacts, the Special Counsel did not find any conspiracy to violate U.S. law involving Russia-linked persons and any persons associated with the Trump campaign.

So that is the bottom line. After nearly two years of investigation, thousands of subpoenas, and hundreds of warrants and witness interviews, the Special Counsel confirmed that the Russian government sponsored efforts to illegally interfere with the 2016 presidential election but did not find that the Trump campaign or other Americans colluded in those schemes.

After finding no underlying collusion with Russia, the Special Counsel's report goes on to consider whether certain actions of the President could amount to obstruction of the Special Counsel's investigation. As I addressed in my March 24th letter, the Special Counsel did not make a traditional prosecutorial judgment regarding this allegation. Instead, the report recounts ten episodes involving the President and discusses potential legal theories for connecting these actions to elements of an obstruction offense.

After carefully reviewing the facts and legal theories outlined in the report, and in consultation with the Office of Legal Counsel and other Department lawyers, the Deputy Attorney General and I concluded that the evidence developed by the Special Counsel is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense... we accepted the Special Counsel's legal framework for purposes of our analysis and evaluated the evidence as presented by the Special Counsel in reaching our conclusion.

...I believe that the publicly released report will allow every American to understand the results of the Special Counsel's investigation. ... Thus, these members of Congress will be able to see all of the redacted material for themselves -- with the limited exception of that which, by law, cannot be shared.

The report is a COMPILATION of the EVIDENCE....the KNOWN, WELL-ESTABLISHED EVIDENCE.....

Yawn. Actually, no. It's the feds and state AGs who are pursuing this. It has nothing to do with 'leftists', but I understand your need to pretend it does.

LOL! Your bull**** fantasy narrative is of no interest to rational adults.a

Your love of corruption and graft duly noted for the record.
No...its the idiot leftists from people like McCabe, Strzok, and others that fabricated this bull**** from the get go.

As for the Russia narrative...

:lamo

Holy ****...you really CANT see what they did to you.....

And they KNEW you would swallow for them.

LOL! I love your desperation. Nothing was fabricated, nor can you demonstrate otherwise.

Empty blathering gets you nowhere.

"The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion." Part I, page 9

Judging by the reaction of Right Wingers today, I suspect they prefer Uganda over the USA...assuming Uganda were White, of course.

And judging by the reaction of the STILL-in-SHOCK leftists is as comical as expected.

OK, now what will congress do with that evidence?

They'll piss and moan... and CONTINUE TO SPOONFEED LIES TO THEIR BASE.

There is NO INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE w/RUSSIA, and trying to pretend that firing the FBI Director, at the behest of the Dep.USAG who later gave Mueller his mandate....is " obstruction"....is just ridiculous on its face.

What was "obstructed"?

They'll piss and moan... and CONTINUE TO SPOONFEED LIES TO THEIR BASE....

Yes, Republicans are going to continue doing that as their base shrinks with each passing day. Enjoy

Yes...the EXPOSURE and COLLAPSE of the TWO+ YEAR RUSSIA LIES is SHRINKING THE REPUBLICAN'S BASE....NOT THE DEMOCRATS.

And where do you think INDFEPENDENTS are going now?

You just cannot grasp the CATASTROPHIC DISASTER THIS HAS BECOME FOR THE LIE-O-CRATS, CAN YOU?

Mueller and those he designates can say what they wish.

Please don't presume to warn me about redactions. Barr has done what's required by law for public consumption. The rest remains to be seen, and fevered cries of "Barr better not do this, or that" are simple, baseless and empty threats. Nothing more. Barr was never under any legal obligation to release the report in any form at all.

Mueller says Russian intelligence targeted Clinton’s personal office within five hours of Trump publicly requesting it on July 27, 2016

John Harwood on Twitter: "Mueller says Russian intelligence targeted Clinton’s personal office within five hours of Trump publicly requesting it on July 27, 2016"

Hilarious watching Barr, once again, PIMP SLAPPING the SOPHOMORIC IDIOCY from the Fake News clowns at the press conference.

One of my faves: Left Twit: "You said he (Trump) faced an unprecedented situation..."

Barr:"Well, is there another precedent for it? "

Left Twit: "No".

Barr: " So then calling it 'unprecedented' was an accurate description."

Left Twit: : Der....umm....duh...." :lamo

Barr magnificently exposes the MELTING DOWN LEFT for the PETULANT, LITTLE BRATS THAT THAY ARE...and SPANKED THEM ACCORDINGLY. :spank:

Barr is great

So what? The agreed intention of the Russians was to sow election discord. You appear to be numbingly deficient in your understanding of what constitutes evidence. Maybe That's why you run around like a breathless squirrel here so often.

Ah, so you admit Trump worked with the Russians to win the election. Thanks.

Everyone knows that Trump and many people around him, including Barr, are up to their necks in Russia. Their efforts to slow walk the report in order to control the messaging just drags it out and keeps it in the news. We will learn more and more as time goes on. But really, we already know enough to recognize that Trump puts himself ahead of his country and is thus, unfit for the job.

Even his supporters know this, they just want him to get way with it.

Yep, the clowns are actually dumb enough to think they can control the message. But, everyone knows the slow bleed is what kills careers. THey should have owned this back in 2016. It would be forgotten by now.

OK, now what will congress do with that evidence?

Pass laws to help prevent foreign adversaries from turning presidential candidates into their stooge.
