A private equity firm managed by the son of former Vice President Joe Biden struck a deal with China's state-owned bank in 2013 at the same time that Biden was in the country to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Hunter Biden, who arrived in China aboard Air Force Two alongside the vice president and the rest of the U.S. delegation, was at the time in control of Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC., a private equity firm that would go on to strike a deal with the state-owned Bank of China to create a $1 billion joint investment fund.

In 2011, Hunter Biden met with top Chinese government fund leaders alongside managing partner Devon Archer and James Bulger, the nephew of notorious mobster Whitey Bulger, who controls a Massachusetts-based consultancy firm. The meeting took place just hours before the vice president would meet with Hu Jintao, then China's president, in Washington as part of a nuclear security summit.

The media hasn't been too interested in this. I wonder why? The Chinese investment fund was use to "invest" in the US obviously to steal technology, and find ways to transfer US jobs to China. The Chinese know any democrat politician would sell out American workers to make a dollar. It's the American way, and they know it.

I'd say Grop'in Joe & Fam did a pretty good job sticking it to the American worker.

If it was Biden himself of course that would be an issue; but his son? He isn't involved in politics and any attempts to link him with his father is your classic 'sins of the father' and guilt by association tactic we see conservatives adopting with Buttigieg and his father. 'Let's make some tenuous **** up and see if it sticks'.

Here's the bottom line: Politicians and their friends and families cash in as much as they can. It's legal. I disagree that it should be legal, but that's not my call.

Levi Strauss closed their last US factory in 2004 after slowly shifting their manufacturing overseas for years. Where were you then? Who was President? Who held the Senate majority then? The House majority? Where have you been? Obviously not living history.

Increased taxation, increased fees and bureaucracy, increased minimum wage laws, increased prices of utilities. No tariffs on imports of their products.

Dude, you are free to believe as you wish, but history proves that, like the Housing crisis, the last gas crisis and the Great Recession, it was a combination of both parties over the last several decades that put us into our problems.

Do you really think Trump and the Republicans can generate a sound economic policy by returning Norma Rae's textile job for a living wage (currently defined as over $15/hour but can vary by location)? The right front tire mounter at a car manufacturer instead of a machine? The problem in the US isn't returning jobs now being done by Chinese kids and Chinese prisoners, but by generating an educated population working 21st century jobs not early 20th century jobs.

Sorry that you fail to understand the problem because if you don't understand the problem then you can't possibly generate good solutions to those problems.

There is no "GOP" anymore, but I agree it's the Republican politicy. OTOH, I don't see much different from the DNC. The DNC offers "free stuff" in exchange for liberties.
