I am listening to the Trump stooge on TV and find he is even worse than I thought. The one thing he said that hit me the hardest was that the White House had FULLY with Mueller. If that is so, why did Trump refuse to speak directly with Mueller? Instead refusing to do so in person and then directing that he would only answer approved question through his lawyer and in writing. Not exactly what i would call being fully cooperative. And Barr said that when it came to the the obstruction question the evidence did not meet their interpretation of the law. Of course Barr has already written that in his interpretation of the law that the president can not obstruct justice, a theory of the that few if any other lawyers agree with. Now we get to see the redacted version of the report. This news conference was nothing but an ad for the president.

How dare him not forward the fake news/lying left's lies??!!!!!!

Doesn't he know the agenda???!!!!

That was a disgusting display from the podium of the Justice Dept.

Barr is already stepping over the line in his charade Press Conference.

Barr is again quoting from the parsed sentence Mueller quote from the March 24th Barr letter and I qoute: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

Barr has turned what Mueller "did not establish" into "did not happen". That is a stretch and another Barr partisan political take on Mueller's results. They are not the same things, not nearly the same things. Barr has gone on to repeat Trump's oft heard "No Collusion" claim. It should be clear to us at this point that the redactions in the Conspiracy and Russian Hacking end of the Mueller Report will be heavy....if not extremely heavy.

Barr went out of his way to point out that there is no evidence or at least Mueller "did not establish" that Americans assisted in the hacking activities of the GRU. That is not news. IF you were the GRU would you tell Americans that you were about to hack DNC computers or would you start to sift through potential allies in decimating the information after you had it?

Barr has even gone on to take a left handed swipe at clearing Wikileaks claiming that publishing stolen materials is not illegal. While true, trafficking in them is illegal.

Barr says he will supply selected members of Congress with a copy of the Report that includes all but Grand Jury Material. Grand Jury Material has been released to the Congress by "cooperative" AG's in the past. Barr is not a cooperative AG.

This is a charade and I am happy to report, it will not hold. It will not stand!

Let the American people both read the full report and then examine the evidence that went into it. Only then can we make our own judgements without this leading us by the hand that Barr engaged in.

Barr's entire Wikileaks gloss over stunk to high heaven and it sounded like he intentionally and deliberately wanted to find a legal excuse to overlook that phase of the conspiracy. I expect that to blow up in this and Trumps face later today.

Even Fox News is offering that Barr is acting more as Trump's defense attorney than the Nation's AG.

Stooge : Anyone with whom political extremists disagree. :)

First, the AG works for the President so it makes sense he'd protect his boss.

Second, and more importantly, regardless if a person protects their boss, they have to abide by the law.

Are you saying Barr did something illegal? Unethical? Something not subject to oversight by Congress?

What about the behavior of the President and others that does NOT rise to the level of an indictable crime but is clearly unethical and outright politically wrong?

“Special Counsel Mueller did not indicate that his purpose was to leave the decision to Congress. I hope that was not his view since we don’t convene grand juries and conduct criminal investigations for that purpose,”

- Barr -

Barr actually dodged the actual question that was asked of him.

You can use that to inform your decision whether to vote for him or not next year.

No...he didn't dodge. I just didn't quote that part of his answer.

“I didn’t talk to him directly about the fact that we were making the decision, but I am told that his reaction to that was that it was my prerogative as attorney general to make that decision.”

I just saw the press conference and Barr is going to jail for sure. Schaffer’s and Nadler will have a special counsel on his ass by noon! Viva la Revolución!!!

DEms today -> :2bigcry::2bigcry:

And that statement right there discredited anything else he had to say. Collusion has been proven without a shadow of a doubt.

The report is about coordination and conspiracy.

I do not recall him using either of those legal terms, only the general term collusion...

Fine, but you'll have to have the President's rebuttal attached to it. Not that you would read it.

The "Justice" part of the report of over now. From here on out it's all political... except for the democrats going to jail, that is.

And attitudes like that is why this country is plagued with TDS.

If you're not a Trumper, this whole thing has screamed "coverup" since Barr's silly 4 pager.

The meme on the right now? "Nah, nah, Trump got away with it!"

One thing's for sure - trump is the guiltiest acting "innocent man" that history has ever seen!

As always, the rubes eat up the BS and think it is candy.

Not like anyone didn''t expect that

Yeah that some dodge.

Can you say "Desperation'?
