I am in a philosophical sense a Conservative (in the Burkean sense). That should tell you that I am unlikely to support a populist.

If you feel a law is dumb then there is something that can be done about it: change it through the constitutional and democratic process.

Congress is the primary branch through which our laws are implemented, so they're doing what they do. And they, along with the Judicial branch, are keeping the President from ruling unconstitutionally.

I'm failing to see a a reason why any of your arguments are valid at this point.

Do we need to go back to your first post, which was talking about ignoring the exact laws and policies under our government to apply a not-so-harsh punishment to illegal immigrants?

So while it is untrue to say that they are ‘unvetted’ it is not adequate to say they have all been truly checked. And yes actually 72 HOR Democrats did sign a petition to have them brought in without a real means of checking them. So arguablyi im nor technically correct, you are misinformed. Stop responding to so many triggers because your credibility is doubtful.

try looking at the actual hearing that was conducted by the homeland security committee. That quote is verbatim. The following was my own reflection of the response. If you find similarities with other groups you could say that we have drawn conclusions off the same information. I am quite confident in my credibility which is why I openly question yours which I can refute with open sources, while you continue to lambast your own with superlatives and merged falsehoods to support a narrative that is hopelessly idealistic and without substance.
