Biggest Lies told About Trump - Part One

By the same token, every liberal who ever passed time with anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan is guilty of standing with him, and cannot be a fine person due to such an association-- right? It does work both ways?

I'm a liberal and I never condoned anything Louis Farrakhan stood for.

I could cite other examples of Trump contradictions, but I don't think his current thing about sanctuary cities is one. He's telling such cities to put up or shut up: if they really want to take in everyone, let them do so, and spare the cities that don't want everyone. It's a spoof of the liberal position.

You have very little understanding, or want to, of the ramifications of such an act by Trump.

Just to remind everyone, this is not a debate, its a bald faced lie that was told about Trump and regurgitated by fake news. Trump never said that Nazis are "very fine people". Tomorrow comes PART TWO: Did Trump say "Mexicans were rapists" the day he announced his candidacy? That is the common fake news lore, but it true, or is it a lie. Stay tuned.

This is the beginning of a series of threads about the BIG FIVE lies told about Trump. PART ONE:

"President Trump called white supremacists 'very fine people!'"

THAT IS A LIE.

From THIS SOURCE (Link) I quote the following:

QUOTE: Whenever Democrats want to blame President Trump for an act of white supremacist violence such as the horrific attack in New Zealand or the imagined attack on Jussie Smollett in Chicago, they and their allies in the national news media invariably cite his statements in the wake of the deadly riot in Charlottesville, Virginia.
"President Trump called white supremacists 'very fine people!'" they shriek.
Only he didn't. He actually said the exact opposite.
In an on-camera statement just two hours after a white supremacist plowed his car into a group of protesters, killing 32 year-old Heather Heyer and injuring 19 people, President Trump expressed his outrage:

The President's inclusion of the phrase "on many sides" immediately set off a media feeding frenzy. Even though violent members of Antifa had joined with those peacefully protesting the "Unite the Right" rally and had sparked physical altercations with the white supremacists attending the rally, Trump critics immediately pounced on what they considered to be equivocation. It was nothing of the sort.........(END QUOTE)

The liberal/Demos are planning to break a world record of lying about out President Trump in the Guinness Book of Records. Should be easy.

I am sure they broke that record long ago. More than that they are involved in an overthrow of the government and the establishment of a one-party rule socialist America.

You have very little understanding, or want to, of the ramifications of such an act by Trump.

You've chosen to ignore my assertion that Trump made this proposition mostly to needle the Left, so you're clearly not getting my position.

And you know what? These sanctuary cities are nothing but pure heart for those poor immigrants. The mayor of the city of Seattle, which is a sanctuary city, said they would gladly welcome any immigrants that Trump chooses to send to them by the busloads. She said she has received hundreds of calls and emails from people in the Seattle community offering to take these people into their own homes.

Republicans have long forgotten what the milk of human kindness tastes like.

I'm sure that some people have graciously invited asylum-seekers into their homes.

It remains to be seen if Congressmen on the Left will change the laws to make these acts of charity possible.

My guess is that they're perfectly happy to allow border cities like El Paso to absorb the overflow.

I'm a liberal and I never condoned anything Louis Farrakhan stood for.

But is everyone who ever associated with Farrakhan at, say, a political rally implicated in his views?

In an on-camera statement just two hours after a white supremacist plowed his car into a group of protesters, killing 32 year-old Heather Heyer and injuring 19 people, President Trump expressed his outrage:
We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides. It's been going on for a long time in our country. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama, this has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America. What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives. No citizen should ever fear for their safety and security in our society. And no child should ever be afraid to go outside and play or be with their parents and have a good time.
The President's inclusion of the phrase "on many sides" immediately set off a media feeding frenzy. No one is fooled by the liberal/Demo antics. They're extremists that will do anything to destroy the American dream.

So now marching with Nazis is "free expression"? All that it expresses is comradery and that birds of a feather flock together. You have sunk to new lows.

Both sides have people who are peaceful, without hate or bigotry, and both have valid feelings. People on both sides simply wanted their voices heard without violence.

Trump is a Nazi.

Donald Trump has Jewish daughter and grandkids.

I am not here to argue with the baby-killing socialists who promote the lie that Trump said Nazis are fine people, a disgusting lie and something he never said. I am here to set the record straight. Anyone who disagrees and prefers the lie, just as you have preferred to collusion lie for 2 years, well, I don't hear a a word you say.

Look, I lean left on most matters, and will agree with you that he didn't call white supremacists fine people. It simply didn't happen.

That said, lets try to be fair about things and point out that his INITIAL gut reaction to them incident was milquetoast at best and not very strong against the violence perpetrated by a white supremacist and those that were applauding his actions.

More importantly, it would be completely false to try to label him as anything other than the raging bigot he is. Not racist, but bigot. They aren't the same things. His words and actions for the last 40 years of his life have showed that this much is true. The things he says currently that some people mislabel as racist are nothing more than a product of his upbringing and life experience. Its not like that man wasn't sued many times for bigoted renting practices. Its not like the didn't call for the incarceration of a group of people who didn't actually commit the crime he was calling for them to be convicted of. I believe these things come from his actual dislike of anyone not like him, not because he views white people as superior to blacks.

He also has an innate inability to know when to put down the shovel. The sad part is that his supporters simply don't give a damn. No matter how bad or stupid what he says is, his supporters will tell the rest of us that its our fault for not recognizing how genius what he said actually was.

Both sides have people who are peaceful, without hate or bigotry, and both have valid feelings. People on both sides simply wanted their voices heard without violence.

I would argue that "peaceful" people when surrounded by Nazi's and white supremacists go home.

The liberal/Demos are planning to break a world record of lying about out President Trump in the Guinness Book of Records. Should be easy.

In a thread predicated upon the overt ignorance of the OP, this is certainly the single dumbest comment. President Drumpf has already surpassed (just beyond the half-way point of what will be his only term) the TEN THOUSAND "false and misleading claims" threshold. His opponents aren't lying about him. There's no need to lie, when the truth about Drumpf is so clear and damning.

I am sure they broke that record long ago. More than that they are involved in an overthrow of the government and the establishment of a one-party rule socialist America.

And with that, you've identified yourself as just another lunatic right-wing conspiracy theorist.

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but that would be a lie. It's predictable...even expected...from some of you people.

But is everyone who ever associated with Farrakhan at, say, a political rally implicated in his views?

"...at a political rally..."????

You're fishing for something, but your premise is flawed.

Please, elaborate with specifics, if you dare. If you dare not, please consider yourself dismissed.

Which of those "good people" was Trump talking about?

Name them or point to a picture

He won't, because he can't. And he knows it.

The bottom line FACTS about the Unite the Right Rally are:
  • it was created, promoted and organized ENTIRELY by white nationalist/supremacist/neo-nazi groups and leaders.
  • It was advertised ENTIRELY on white nationalist/supremacist/neo-nazi social media platforms.
  • It was explicitly branded as a rally for white supremacists, white nationalists and neo-nazis for MONTHS leading up to the actual rally.
  • EVERY single group listed as an organizing entity for the rally was white nationalist/supremacist/neo-nazi in ideology.
  • The promotional fliers leading up to the rally were rife with Nazi and Neo-Confederate symbols.
  • The police affidavits filed in preparation for the event listed "KKK, Alt-Knights, White Militia and 3% Risen" as the participants, based upon informatio provided on the permit/application for the event.
  • At the rally, Nazi and Confederate flags, emblems and paraphernalia were EXCLUSIVELY displayed and the entire crowd was chanting "Jews will not replace us!", "Blood and Soil!" and "White Lives Matter!".
  • So anyone...ANYONE...who marched along in that crowd of ignorant, racist thugs, incels and inbreds...amidst those screaming chants....and did NOT remove himself or herself from that crowd......was PART of that crowd. Period. There were NOT "good people" on both sides. There are NOT "good people" marching along with angry, violent white supremacists and neo-nazis. Period.

Every Trump acolyte knows these are the FACTS. The OP in this thread is a lie. Trump DID imply that there were "good people' marching with and among those white nationalists/suprmacists/neo-nazis. He DID imply that there are "good" white supremacists/nationalists/neo-nazis. To argue otherwise is to be dishonest.

The original context of my Farrakhan remark appeared in post #74, responding to the idea that everyone who might've been in any way associated with the Neo-Nazis was instantly responsible for their evils. Here's the post to which I responded:

Never said that he called Neo Nazi "fine people".. he said there were fine people on both sides.. and since one side clearly had Neo Nazi scum and people who chose to stand with them.. well. There were no fine people among people who stand with Neo Nazi scum.

To which I said:

By the same token, every liberal who ever passed time with anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan is guilty of standing with him, and cannot be a fine person due to such an association-- right? It does work both ways?

I'm not so much "fishing" as trying to delve into the question, does association with Evil always make you Evil? I for one consider Farrakhan and the Neo-Nazis to be equally evil, but I don't believe Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are evil because they appeared with LF, and by the same standard I don't consider anyone who was there, protesting only the removal of the Confederate statue, with the evil of the Neo-Nazis.

Trump condemned white supremacists in the same speech that he spoke of "good people," and no Leftie cares to remember that.

As for the question of whether there were non-Nazis/supremacists there, I refer you to this Arkansas Times article:

James Del Brock, the lead organizer of a group self-styled the Hiway Men, said his group is not linked with the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville and his members are advocating “saving our heritage and constitutional rights.”

“We were in Charlottesville, [but] we had nothing to do with that ‘Unite the Right’ rally, we were there to support the monument … and support the freedom of speech of both sides,” he said.

Now, if someone wants to dig around and prove that this guy Del Brock actually is a white supremacist, feel free. However, even if someone finds such data, that will not prove that Trump was not referencing people that he believed to be peacefully exercising their right to protest, w/o attempting to stump with white supremacy as such.

The Left's narrative wants to demonize everyone who disagrees with them, regardless of the nature of the disagreement. The Right in the past used to be much more guilty of this tendency, but the Left's certainly playing catch-up these days.

"Trump condemned white supremacists in the same speech that he spoke of "good people," and no Leftie cares to remember that. "

What he said was that there were "good people on both sides".

There were no good people marching with the Nazis

Congratulations, you scoured the vast landscape surrounding Trump, and found an item worthy of contention.

Good for you. What else you got?

The only lie here is the thread it self..

Trump Defends White-Nationalist Protesters: 'Some Very Fine People on Both Sides' - The Atlantic

And if you dont believe that.. then how about your dear leader saying it on video?

Pete, reality is like Kryptonite to the Trump base. They run away from it as fast as then can, and deny they ever saw it in the first place. Only Trump approved media sources are acceptable, all others are "enemies of the people" to much of his base.
