Trump offers pardon to beak law and serve him

CNN is reporting that President Donald Trump has offered presidential pardons of people break the immigration law to serve what he wants done

Trump told CBP head he'd pardon him if he were sent to jail for violating immigration law - CNNPolitics

The NY Times also reportedly has this same story.

If this is true, the President of the United States has crossed the line into criminality and will use his powers to forgive it. There is precious little difference in this any any other criminal act ordered by the President with the promise of a pardon if it is committed.

I know that Trumpkins and right wingers will defend him, but we truly have a narcissistic psychopath in charge of the worlds most powerful government and Trump use be removed from power ASAP.

The time is here for all good people to stand up and condemn this and remove this criminal in the White House.
 
This is another prime example of why most normal people fear this president. The right as usual will agree with him trying to put him one step closer to a dictatorship. This is the GOP of today. Win at any cost.
 
I can't wait to see how Trump supporters react when the next Democrat president uses the pardon in this way.
 
And now they're already down to "people are not sure if the president was kidding or not".

The pardon power is not there for just for righting wrongs, its there for doing the necessary evils snake eaters are required to do from time to time. I say good if the president offers pardons to those who do the necessary things that need to be done then so be it. We are under siege by outside forces using our laws to undermine our way of life.

If the President of the USA is telling a "joke" to people and asking the to break the law and dangling pardons in from of them - we are in deep, deep trouble as a county as that is far beyond inappropriate. It is dangerous and a serious line has been crossed and a serous norm is being violated.

For the President to pretend to "joke" about this subject is like a father just joking" about having sex with his own children. Its completely over the line and totally unacceptable to hide such things behind the flimsy Halloween costume of its "just a joke".
