Looks like more of the "Thee, not me" that is the staple of today's left.

Democrats such as Nancy Pelosi, etal, went into "freakout mode" when they learned of a White House idea to release illegals into THEIR SANCTUARY CITIES, for some reason.

First, it was "there's no border crisis!!!", until it became obvious that the American People were no longer buying that line of ****, then suddenly, it became, "There's a crisis at the border, but it's TRUMP'S FAULT !!" :roll:

Now, it's "We must let all illegals into the country!!"

Except with the caveat , "Just not where we live!!!"


WHY WOULD THE ILLEGAL-O-CRATS OBJECT TO THIS?

Anyone surprised to learn this about the Phony-o-crats hasn't been paying very close attention to their ACTIONS, vs THEIR WORDS....read the public comments at the end of the linked article to see what "The Man in the Street" has to say about it....

WASHINGTON – The revelation late Thursday that the White House tried multiple times to pressure immigration authorities into releasing migrants on the streets of sanctuary cities did not go over well with Democrats, who denounced the Trump administration as cruel.

The White House did not immediately respond to inquires about the proposal. In a statement to the Post, the White House said, "This was just a suggestion that was floated and rejected, which ended any further discussion." The Post reported that the proposal sought to ease the bed shortage at immigration detention centers while also retaliating against sanctuary cities and "send a message to Democrats."

The fact is this WH has done nothing about this issue that it has not done ruthlessly, carelessly, cruelly and wantonly. So if I were SF or any other city I would expect the same sort of slap-dashed performance in this case. IMO, its not the fact of more unauthorized immigrants ending up in their cities as much as facing yet another slap-dashed execution of same by this administration.

The Fact is the Illegal-o-crats are despicable HYPOCRITES, who have no problem releasing foreign criminals into EVERYONE ELSE's NEIGHBORHOODS, but not theirs, of course.


The President is trying to STOP THE INFLUX, as he should.

Ironic that Trump referred to migrants as animals. IMO the animals are those that develop and continence these wanton and cruel tactics. So just keep barkin' ....it suits you.

You posted a dose of humor with your loaded question. I have brown skin, don't hate myself and, when generalizing, feel an affinity for Brown People.
 
We have multiple problems here, so in no particular order...

I am not entirely sure this is legal, and all things immigration and legality is a quagmire now. For the Department of Homeland Security to release any migrant anywhere suggests a series of regulations resulting from all the applicable legislation on the books now, and we have question on how "sanctuary city" is defined in terms of the ability of the President's administration to do anything in terms of placing a migrant.

Cities that have gone with "sanctuary city" status through whatever efforts has never meant off-limits to Federal Immigration practices or enforcement. All it has ever meant was some sort of local effort to remove or at least diminish cooperation with Federal authorities when encountering someone undocumented. No city can prevent Federal authorities from their investigations, practices, what have you.

Saying these cities are being hypocritical is dubious at best. These cities saying they are "sanctuary city" status does not mean they are saying dump all immigrants (documented or otherwise) here, they are only saying they refuse to cooperate with federal authorities. Now we all know these cities still encourage those especially undocumented to go there for at least some protections, but no matter where someone undocumented goes the risk is there of being captured for whatever Federal enforcement reasons.

At the end of the say Trump and Administration are using "migrants" as political weapons, and that speaks far more about Trump and his Administration than any of these Democrats calling them out.

From my chair, this illustrates with perfection how absurd the Immigration debate has become.

You managed to use a lot of words to say absolutely nothing. Define what you mean by slap dashed because that term litterally has no mesning without you adding any context and define nothing because that needs context too.

Trump has made several attempts to address the problem and its been obstructed every step of the way. Its pretty clear what your trying to say is he has not done anything you approve of but you conveniently leave out what you approve of.

Trump claims many of these migrants are realy criminals, killers, rapists and even terrorists like adherents of ISIS.

IOW, Trump knowingly intended to endanger the lives of innocent American citizens in cities he thinks don't like him.

Why do you support the murder of US citizens?
 
The White House just got the HYP-O-CRATS on the record expressing outrage over the idea of the VERY SAME ILLEGALS THAT THEY INSIST BEING ALLOWED IN THE COUNTRY, BEING PLACED ON THEIR OWN DOORSTEPS.

I think it's more of an outrage of our President blatantly retaliating against political foes and using our government as revenge tool.

That's not a good look for the US but then why should an outsider like you really care about it?
