The intent of the law is to protect national security. Trump is carelessly putting our national security at risk.

Cult members like you don't care what Trump does so it's always only liberals who care. If a liberal is accused of something all Trump cult members care and some liberals so it becomes a problem.

I doubt the Dems can ever stoup as low as the Republican Benghazi investigation.

You do acknowledge that it started as an investigation about the Benghazi attack and then became a fishing expedition into Hillary's emails? After what you guys did to Hillary, you can't complain.

Republicans totally failed in their job of oversight. They helped Trump cover-up as much as possible.

And at least Nancy Pelosi hasn't said, "My job is to make Trump a one-term president."

Trump is just doing what he's done his entire career--hire incompetent people.

He ran his casinos into the ground by hiring his wife and brother who had zero experience

He hired a bunch of crooks and Russian agents to run his presidential campaign

He hired a bunch of people he later had to fire to run the White House

Now we find out that he gave out security clearances like they were candy.

I'm sure his cult members still believe he hires the best people. He's just incompetent.

Here's what you're 'supposed' to be - not only 'upset' but downright outraged by - that there's 25 people holding security clearances that our own intelligence agencies said 'NO DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM!!!'.

Is your partisanship so blind and so intense that you can ignore the threat to our national security? You must be Kremlin-owned if you can.

I don't blindly March to orders given to me. If they want my support they need to make a convincing case for doing so.

I would like to know who was denied, what position they were denied to hold, what were the circumstances that disqualified them, who overrode the decision and what were the circumstances for that decission.

Without all that information I can't for an honest opinion.

Clinton fell to a perjury trap, the entirety of the Republicans attacks on him were politically motivated because they were pissed Bush didn't get re-elected.

It's not so much "whataboutism" as it is hyperpartisan hypocrisy.

The information on who got these clearances is probably classified so the public will never know who the 25 or more people who got these clearances. What we do know is that there are a lot of people in the White House that are apparent security risks to the United States and that is not a good thing. And yes the president has the legal right to do as he has done, but does that make it any better that he has done something that brings the nation to risk? Maybe you think so, but most people with a brain realize how dangerous it is, especially since many of those who have these questionable clearances may use the information they get for personal gain and not care about the risk to the country.

Having sex outside of marriage isn't a crime, else Trump would be in trouble. So yes, it was a perjury trap. He did something of questionable morality and didn't want to admit it, so they get him to say something under oath and then invest all their time proving it happened.

What crime other than Perjury did he commit?
