It's politics. In politics, it's better to look good than be right. This much Trump has learned. For example, even though Trump knew the Mueller investigation was groundless only because of the firing of Comey, he let it happen.

Would you care to list some of Trump's lies? Try to take more effort than producing a link. I've found PolitiFact to be disingenuous.

What puzzles me is why so many of Trump's supporters are vehemently opposed to having the full report released. Their leader has been cleared of colluding with the Russians, so what's the problem? As far as 'letting' the investigation happen, I don't think he had any say in the matter. It would have gone ahead with or without his approval.

The author of the report summarized the findings as no collusion with Russians to interfere in the 2016 election. What else do you need?...Fodder to impeach Trump, I presume.

Mueller's report exonerated Trump's campaign of working with Russians to influence the 2016 election. The report doesn't do anything else.

Actually it does; it does NOT exonerate Trump from obstruction, and interested parties want to know why.

Comey will be proven to be unethical and Trump had every right as president to fire him. EDIT: Comey ethical or no.

But he consistently looks anything but good! Every day there's another resignation by "only the best people", another scandal, another torrent of lies, another idiotic proposal (shutting the border). If that's looking good, I'm stumped to imagine what 'bad' looks like.

Comey leaked information taken from his notes of a classified meeting with the president. Comey initiated the Mueller probe when he sent those Comey crib notes to his professor buddy who sent them to the Times.
It would be interesting to find out who other than McCain leaked the Steele dossier to the press.

He has consistently lied to you about, for example, your 10% tax cut (never happened), Mexico's cheque (never happened), a replacement for ACA (never happened), and a multitude of other broken promises, all designed to get the gullible to elect him.
