Charlottesville Nazi Guilty of Hate Crime

Charlottesville Nazi Guilty of Hate Crime

If I had my way, he'd have been prosecuted for merely being a Nazi. Here we are approaching 100 years after the rise and defeat of that crap in Germany and we have clowns still pushing that spiteful ****. 50-80 years is long enough to get a ****ing clue and stop the madness of stuff like Nazism.

He killed someone and injured 10's of others. How is he a political prisoner? Do you even understand the meaning of the term?

po·lit·i·cal pris·on·er
/pəˈlidəkəl ˈpriznər,ˈpriznər/
noun
noun: political prisoner; plural noun: political prisoners
a person imprisoned for their political beliefs or actions.

There is ample evidence that he was in fear for his life (from all the people attacking his car with bats and the like). You could make the case that he responded negligently or recklessly, and I'd have no problem with a manslaughter charge, but there's no evidence that he intended to kill or injure anyone.

Even if it were granted that he had an intent to kill, there's literally no indication that he targeted anyone because of their membership in a protected group (political activism/ideology is not a protected group), which is the standard for a hate crime charge.

The only reason he's been charged with murder, and especially hate-crime-murder, is because he's a political dissident. If a left-winger had been surrounded by a group of angry white nationalists who attacked his car, and had hit the gas in response and one of them died, he wouldn't be facing these charges (in fact, none of the left-wingers who committed acts of violence in Charlottesville have faced felony jail time).

Fine people.

It's sad to see our own government holding political prisoners. That's supposed to be something that only happens in foreign countries.

This kind of swill flies on Stormfront. Here, not so much.

(****. I appear to have accidentally replicated two comments above. Oh well.)

Oh come on! It's just possible they were attacking his car because he was driving into them. He was the aggressor.

His car was attacked before he hit the gas.

There were people in the streets everywhere, most likely there weren't any open spaces nearby. We know he was trying to get home because he used Google maps to determine a route back to his home state (which wouldn't make sense if he intended to commit a terrorist attack).

Here is a video showing his car being attacked, right before he sped up. You can tell that he sped up afterwards, because that's when people started screaming:

The crime he's falsely accused of is apolitical, but he's still a political prisoner since the motive for the false accusation was his being a political dissident.

There is ample proof that he was in fear for his life from the people who were attacking his vehicle. He should have been convicted of no more than manslaughter.

In any case, even if he had intentionally killed Heather Heyer, there is no legitimate theory by which he would be guilty of a bias crime (he did not target her or anyone else for real or perceived membership in a protected group).

You see that headline? "PLEAD GUILTY".

He's just another dip**** 88 like all the rest of them. He'll be more at home in prison than his own half burned out RV trailer.

He pled guilty to avoid the death penalty. That means nothing.

No. Are you sure this is the right video?

The jury of his peers and the judicial system of the United States of America seems to disagree with your assessment.

But video exhonorates him right?

Then why was this disphit 88 such a coward if he was so innocent?

Why would an innocent person want to avoid being executed?

Really difficult question that is.

He ran his car down a short side street packed with pedestrians at end of it where he was headed and accelerating. There is video of people attacking his car after he plowed into that crowd. What evidence are you referring to?

“Political prisoners”?

What a load of crap.

He is a scumbag who murdered a woman due to his own hatred.

Nothing more.

He was driving slowly down the street. Someone attacked his car with a bat (between :01 and :02). He immediately accelerated and people started screaming. Unless you're claiming that heoriginally intended to run over people at slow speed, or that it's a complete co-incidence that he accelerated at the same time as his car was attacked, there's no reason to think he had an intent to kill or injure anyone.

I'd like to beat this Nazi Asshole down with a bat...Screw any trial

Killing a mixed group of people while holding politically incorrect opinions is not listed as an offense in the federal hate crimes law.
Correction, murdered an innocent young woman.

... their political ideology.
Neo-Nazism isn’t just a political ideology. Saying that is a lie.

... he's a political dissident.
Nelson Mandela was a political dissident, Fields is a murdering hate mongerer.

His was the only car on the street, which had been blocked off to traffic. The street is less than a short block in length. The only destination was a packed crowd of pedestrians at the other end. He was drying straight at them. A few people at the side of the street tried to deter him by yelling and one person clubbed the car as it went by. This was his defense, and you buy it.

There has been no report that the police blocked off the street to vehicular traffic.

Is it your claim that he had originally intended to ram the crowd at slow speed?
