Just recently (last week), Trump berated McCain and stated unequivocally that it was him that brought out and gave the Steele Dossier to the FBI.

Well, he was wrong in that berating as it was Graham that was the actual culprit.

(CNN)GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham said Monday that he told the late Sen. John McCain to turn over the dossier of Trump-Russia allegations to the FBI, pushing back against President Donald Trump's assertions that the Arizona Republican helped fan the flames of the Russia investigation.

Graham told CNN after a news conference that he told Trump in Florida this weekend that "Sen. McCain deserves better" than the way the President has been publicly disparaging the late senator and war hero in the last week. And Graham publicly acknowledged he had advanced knowledge of the dossier, the existence of which has enraged the President. Graham defended McCain's role and said that he told Trump that his close friend's involvement was limited.

Trump consistently twists the truth to support his ideas. How can anyone believe anything he says?

That's no different from any other politician in the world.

Also, you didn't need to create another thread. You could have simply added this post to your previous diatribe or edited your original banter.

and that is okay with you? You approve of politicians that make mistakes about judging other people? Oh, yes, but everyone does it, no? If we (as a nation) do not set a guideline to follow, then everyone will feel that breaking the line is okay, such as you are doing. Don't we need to make people accountable for what they say? Pay some sort of a fine/price for doing something wrong? or should we just turn our faces away and say "everyone does it, so it is okay to do it", especially in the case of Trump that believes himself to be as perfect or better than God? Let not ruffle his feathers because he will not like it.

OP's Article he Apparently Didn't Read said:
if Trump believes it was the McCain people who spread this,"he's right. There were some McCain people that took a piece of garbage and tried to go after Trump after the election."

Graham added: "I told the President it was not John McCain. I know because John McCain showed me the dossier. And I told him the only thing I knew to do with it, it could be a bunch of garbage, it could be true, who knows? Turn it over to somebody who's job it is to find these things out and John McCain acted appropriately."

Your own article turns your TDS post on it's head. McCain did act as a dupe - willing or unwilling - and a conduit to the FBI to lend credibility, since any odd "no name" political hack would be laughed out of the FBI's office. It wound up in McCain's hands because Trump's enemies probably suspected he'd be happy to pass it on without asking too many questions.

YOU said Graham was the culprit. No, Graham gave advice to McCain. So you got your facts mixed up.
Please try to be more accurate in your OP unless you are writing for the MSM.

McCain probably did what he thought was right, but then again since his actions led to two years of political and media jackals trying to destroy presidency, I can see how Trump might be a bit chafed.

Personally, I'm glad to see Republicans fight back instead of "Losing with Honor", "Decorum in the Morgue", "Lose Politely".

LOL!!

Talk about twisting...

Graham didn't give the dossier to the FBI...McCain did. Trump is correct.

Well, to me it is hypocritical of Trump not to lambast McCain and not Graham, given that Graham recommended and supported giving the report to the FBI.

Sorry, I don't believe anything that CNN says about Trump. Get a better news source.
