Barr Secretly Met With Trump On Airport Tarmac Just Before The Release Of Mueller Report

That's fine as long as Barr recuses himself from any decision regarding the report. Did he do that? Will we ever see the report?

I intentionally didn't read any of the thread before responding here. But here is what I predict:

1. This will be ignored. . .and/or. . .
2. They will reword this into a straw man they can attack. . .and/or. . .
3. They will throw in any number of red herrings to divert or derail the topic. . .and/or. . .
4. They will bring up something totally unrelated that they think looks worse. . .and/or. . .

Oh well, you get my drift. :) Trying to get a dedicated Trump hater or most of the leftists to intellectually and honorably discuss the actual topic is much MUCH more difficult than herding cats.

Why did Obama let it happen in the first place, when he was briefed that it was actually happening? The answer: Comrad Obama wasn't really a Kenyan Muslim at all but a Russian mole. Are you saying that the 2018 election was not legitimate?

Deflection deflection deflection. You know darn well that if Barr had done this very same thing cries of the deep state would be ringing everywhere. Oh, wait a minute, we've already got the left claiming that the deep state is protecting Trump now so, never mind. Funny how the left claim that there is no such thing as a deep state and yet they don't trust Mueller, the FBI, or the DOJ. The left have zero respect for our great police organizations and have no respect for the rule of law.

We don't know but at least his Justice Dept. is almost certainly working on it. It happened though during Obama's watch. Wouldn't you have thought HIS Justice Dept. would have intervened or taken measures to counter it once they became aware of it? But no, apparently Obama told them 'no, no' but no other action was apparently taken.

I am guessing that the Trump Administration has been more proactive than that but obviously they can't publicize what they are doing if they hope to catch somebody in the act.

Too often we wait until there is a problem before we do anything about it. We didn't anticipate an attack like 9/11 until it happened, and then measures were taken to prevent it from happening again including banning all sharp objects on airplanes.

We didn't anticipate shoe bombs until somebody tried to set one off and we have had to have our shoes inspected at airports ever since.

We didn't anticipate terrorist attacks at sporting events and other events involving large numbers of people until somebody committed or tried to commit the crime and now security is enhanced at such events.

And so forth.

An even better question would have been if AG Barr had abdicated his duty and and told some Trump toady to do it for him, just like Lynch did with Comey.

Ummmmmmmmm. This is how it played out. Our intelligence agencies that the left love so much and totally respect informed Obama in 2016 that Russia was trying to meddle in our elections and Obama responded by totally ignoring what they said and telling his people to stand down and let the meddling happen. If you believe Trump hasn't done anything about it then are you willing to admit that the 2018 election was not legitimate?

This is coming from the same group that told us that there's no problem with Trump bringing the FBI director in to the oval office, asking everyone to leave, and then say "I need loyalty, Flynns a good guy, hopefully you can let this go *wink*"

I agree the Clinton/Lynch tarmac meeting was stupid and sketchy. It shouldn't have happened. But we all need to quit pretending that this is all just on one side or another. The smart people on each side already understand this. The silly partisans will dig in their heels and keep saying that the other side is evil.

I think he is trying to say that Russians must have meddled in the 2018 election and, therefore, that election must not have been legitimate.

First of all, we don't know that Trump said that to Comey, other than Comey's testimony and Comey has obviously got sour grapes from being fired. The trouble is, you lefties think that what everyone says is always true and yet you accuse Trump of lying all the time.

Has ANYONE got any information on what was said in the "multiple private conversations" (if there were any really juicy ones)Trump and Putin have had? Anything about uranium? What did they talk about?
