Dems should stick to the proven facts about Trump

We still don’t know the details about Mueller’s report, but so far my prediction that Trump wouldn’t be directly connected to any Russian collusion seems to be holding up. Personally, moving into the 2020 election cycle I think the Dems should drop collusion as an issue. But there is something provable that came out of the investigation that the Dems should emphasize: Trumps surrounds himself with criminals.

There is no arguing that now. We have not only indictments but convictions. Frankly, I was surprised by how many people were taken down for their crimes from this investigation.

Ask the voters if they want a President who employed criminals as his confidants and advisors. Ask the voters if they want a President who couldn’t even earn or keep the respect of numerous previous cabinet appointees that he personally picked. Show that Trump is incapable of building an administration staffed with qualified, law abiding citizens.

There is no need for Dems to play the speculation game. Stick to the proven facts, because those are damning enough.

Well, let's just wait in see.

Bear in mind that Mueller would never have recommended Trump being indicted or impeached. Not indicted because of DOJ policy, and not impeached because his mandate wasn't to find impeachable offenses or not (there's no standard anyway). The facts of the report may bear on the impeachment question, but he would never have made a recommendation on that front.

Edit: plus the obvious "COLLUSION" is not in the appointment letter. Mueller was never looking for "collusion".

"Collusion" is their word. They picked that word because they knew "collusion" isn't a federal crime.

Agreed. We know Trump compromised himself with the Russians when he told the American public he had no business dealings with the Russians, while he was having business dealings with the Russians.

Compromised himself how?

That's some horrible spin, considering that most of the convictions/pleas were for process crimes.

The only person charged with a real crime was Manafort and he was the only person who had actually committed any crimes, prior to the launch of the special counsel investigation.

Yeah...they have NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, CNN , NPR, and every other media outlet BESIDES ONE.

Paranoia strikes deep. Tell me, how did it happen that all these outlets are biased and FOX is fair and balanced? (And psst! Even some FOX folks are becoming infected.) We’re doomed.

Hint: when your motto is “Fair and Balanced,” you’re not. It’s state TV.

Oh, they weren't looking for "collusion"? :lamo

~He is now surrounded by more criminals - they are called 'politicians' !

Theres nothing abhorrent about FOX. I dont even find CNN or MSNBC abhorrent. All three have an obvious political bias--two left and one right. That you cant see it isnt a reflection on me or FOX, but on you.

Wrong again.

Y'all are going to look mighty stupid trying to push that lie. :lamo

"They weren't looking for collusion"...that's ****ing funny.

(b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confinned by then-FBI Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:
(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation;

I don’t see “collusion” written there.
