I wouldn't hold it against Trump if he doesn't run in 2020

We all know he's never even stopped campaigning and I love it. And of course I will vote for him in 2020.

But I wouldn't hold it against him if he doesn't. His ideas and agenda are noble. He wants to protect us, stop us from getting ripped off by the world and keep our economy thriving (while creating historic unemployment numbers for blacks and latinos -- not to mention creating a space force). Any liberals here note lately what he's done for the environment? No, you didn't because the Trump-hating media won't tell you about that.

He lived a life of luxury surrounded by smart, beautiful people and he could do, quite literally, anything he wants. But he chose to live in a drafty old house with no privacy, surrounded by those he knows was spying on him. He has more energy to fire up his base than any president I've ever seen in history. (Biden?? zzzzzzz I promise you he'll be in bed by 9pm.) Trump does things knowing he will be ridiculed -- for the American people. And he does them anyway. He gave up so much to be so hated. Why? Because he knew he would succeed. AND HE IS.

He is the most genuinely patriotic president in a long time.

Yes, the other presidents say sweet words, but they are just words.

President Trump is truly concerned about the welfare of the nation.

He is hated because he refuses to give special privileges to some people.


He tried his best. That is all that anyone can do. After him, the deluge! I weep for my country.
 
I don't think he expected to win. He was having fun. And I sure couldn't blame a billionaire for only one enlistment.

I suspect deep down the President is just stubborn enough and just egotistical enough not to quit a fight just because the opponent fights unfair. And if his motive is to see if he can do the difficult against the seemingly impossible odds the opposition has created, I don't care because I think his vision and what he hopes to accomplish is pure and defensible.

If those of us who appreciate and support that vision and the goals that go with it become weary of pushing back the most intolerant, dishonest, vicious, hateful, and downright dangerous opposition that I have ever seen in my lifetime, I don't know if he is strong enough to prevail by himself. If we stand with him and help with the push back and keep getting the truth out there, I believe he will succeed. And hopefully will provide enough strength and be enough encouragement that he will choose to continue.
