Pentagon sends Congress list of projects that could be cut to pay for Trump's border wall

So you believe Trump is king then and congress should bow to him.

sigh...

I don't know why I bother. Talking to some people around here is like talking to children.

Praxas...you are dismissed.

You are the one that's putting blame on congress for not passing a campaign promise that a candidate who became president made, not me. So you obviously think that congress should pass whatever the president wants or be blamed for it.

But run away scared like you are because you got caught thinking the president is blameless.

Or from all the money we've saved by bending the healthcare cost curve down as some recent President promised to do. I still haven't seen the $2500 savings in my premiums that he also promised - have you?
Yes. This year, I'll be saving about $10k in health care costs

I still haven't seen the current President's promise of a terrific healthcare plan that will replace the ACA and the government is going to pay for and the great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors and they can have plans and they can have everything- have you?
This isn't a thread about healthcare - there's enough of those elsewhere. Obama had eight years to meet his promises and failed. Trump still has at least two more years to come through on his.

Why not?

Trump promised that within days of taking office, he would take actions against Mexico that would lead them to make a payment of 5 to 10 billion for the wall

Are you sure you are not a liberal? You know...pretending not to know things?

They don't have to agree to it, but if Congress did what Trump wanted them to do they would pay.

So if you want to be honest, Trump didn't fail in his campaign promise...Congress failed.

On the other hand, if you want to be dishonest, you can continue to blame Trump.

Your choice.

Of course there is no real reason you are being so obtuse ...like maybe your argument does not hold water??? It doesn't.

Shrug...

Show me the holes in my argument...or don't bother me.

Well, it's obvious that you don't know sarcasm when it slaps you upside the head.

Yeah, the Narcissist-in-Chief was being sarcastic about wanting to be president for life. I suppose he was also sarcastic about those military parades too. Trumpcult is utterly delusional.

Is he still in office?

See if the Pentagon will give up its next aircraft carrier to fund Trumps wall. (No)

This is the work of the acting SecDef Patrick Shanahan, a toady looking for a full time job.

Mattis wouldn't even consider such Trump junk.

You need to stop pretending and start reading. (and I suggest you don't read the analysis of other people...think for yourself)

In the quotes that article supplies, Trump is giving Mexico a choice...pay one time or we'll take it out little by little.

Unfortunately, Congress didn't support him when it came to taking it little by little.

Trump doesn't need help or support from Congress to do the things he promised he would do, but didn't

He certainly does need Congress to pass laws. Or would you rather he be a king?
