Trump attacks McCain

Neither of them was half as bad as Trump.

Really?

Show me where Trump told the voters he wanted to do something and then actively worked against it getting done. That's what McCain and Obama did.

sigh...

I didn't say the FBI was not allowed to search NSA databases.

If you do think I said that, then you need to get to know Mr. Reading. He'll help you out.

your response:

Lots of things. Here's one: The FBI allowed subcontractors to illegally access the NSA database where they conducted searches of Trump, his family and his associates...until NSA Director Rogers put a stop to it through the FISA Court.

He said he wanted to balance the budget, then supported a tax cut that resulted in a huge increase in the deficit.

Your turn: What is an example of either McCain or Obama doing what you described?

Trump didn't actively work against balancing the budget and he didn't actively work against a tax cut.

Sorry...your example fails.

But hey...I'll give you one about McCain anyway: He told his voters he will repeal and replace Obamacare...then he voted against repeal and replace.

Look. I've established that McCain was a self-serving Congressional Elite. He is NOT the saint everyone wants to think of him now that he's dead. This happens to be directly relevant to the topic of this thread. If you want to fly off in tangents about who is better than whom, you'll have to do it without me.

Moving on...

No, Trump didn't actively work against a tax cut. He actively worked for a tax cut with no spending cuts, thus undermining his stated goal of reducing the deficit.

There was nothing to replace Obamacare.

No, McCain wasn't a "saint" except when compared with Trump.

But, then, anyone would be a saint compared to the fraud and conman we've put into the White House.
