I am hearing so much blame game on this, for clarities sake I feel this deserves a thread. It is long but certainly gives some insight into this guy and his motives. Politically speaking, he is all over the board.

Trying to use him to smear an entire group is just as wrong as calling all Muslims terrorist over an attack from one or a few people.

Since you took the hit and watched it, can I ask if there is anything in it that provides enough enlightenment to suffer through seeing those poor souls suffer?

Not really, it was linked to another forum. it was like a train wreck, my morbid curiosity compelled me to watch. I am sorta jaded by the sickness in our world. On some level, i thought watching it was important for truth, to bare witness.

Fair enough. I admit to a little curiosity, but I'm gonna pass on watching it. I would probably regret seeing what happened to those people.

On average, about every fourth day, we need some new "Trumprage".

Good on you, and yes that is exactly what he wanted. But i felt it needed posting, as a Conservative, I am sick of hearing it linked to us over a few words when this very lengthy text totally refutes that smear. And the media is highlighting a single sentence and ignoring pages of contrary screed.

I'm kind of trying to skim the manifesto. This guy was definitely a special kind of weird. I don't even know what to make of it.

I was very hesitant to assign his actions to any group in the beginning. He's back and forth on his own ideas. I hate that he actually got attention for these horrific actions and that it actually has us reading his nonsense. I wish we could avoid giving him what he wants.

You might want to rephrase your sentence to; "...gives some insight into this terrorist and his motives."

Just heard someone comment about how each group is usually portrayed , if it's one Christian white guy he's a 'lone shooter', but if it's one Muslim shooter, he's a terrorist...

Sad, get an education on Fascism, they aren't all over the board politically, they rather want to recruit from all movements. I refuted this in detail in the original thread on the shooting.

The one thing most of these mass murderers have in common is their desire for their 15 minutes of fame. It doesn't matter if they are suicidal social outcast loser who shoots up a school, some rich ****er trying to make a political point who shoots up a country music concert, the terrorists who in Europe who either shoot or run people over or the terrorist in New Zealand. They want people to talk about who they are and why they did it and to plaster their name, face and deeds all over the media and internet. So I will not give that scumbag what he wants. So I will not read his manifesto. I don't care why he did what he did because there is no justifiable reason for someone to walk into any place and murder innocent people.

Do not watch it, you cannot unwatch it, I remember watching james foley being beheaded, even as a firefighter of 20 years the images still haunt me.
