I predicted the Republican VP was going to be Pence or Kasich.... I just never predicted Trump was going to be the nominee. But the key was always going to be winning the Great Lakes states. Same thing goes this time around.

Tempermentally, I think Hickenlooper and Klobuchar are a better fit, and I think she'll still give a certain amount of regional appeal. Plus, just picture how much of a contrast she'll make to Pence in the VP debate.
I predicted that Kasich would NOT be Trump's running mate. He's too smart to align himself with that fraud.

She will wreck Pence in a debate, if it came to that. He has all the pizzazz of a Bic pen.

Could you please explain how one has a criminal record when they never have been convicted of a crime?

Why now and not 2016? I didnt vote for Trump in 2016 but I sure as **** aint going to vote for Biden just because he isnt Trump. Ill vote libertarian party again if they show a strong ticket like before.

I voted for Johnson in 2016.

I said in another thread a few weeks ago that I hope Biden isn't the candidate. I also hope Warren isn't. But at the end of the day there is no way I would vote for Trump, and I want him out of office. If that means voting for a Dem I don't much care for I'll do it.

Well, to be fair, this was back when I figured the nominee would probably be Bush.... I figured the ideal running mate would be a Great Lakes Governor with Congressional experience.... Pence and Kasich were the two I came up with.

I think Klobuchar would clobber Pence a lot more impressively than Brown would.

On paper, they both look great... in practice, not so much.

    My money is on Hickenlooper-Klobuchar.
I do like hickenlooper, however anytime I mention him i get "Hickenwho"?

    I would have loved a Bush/Kasich ticket.

I would have loved any ticket that didn't contain a Trump, a Cruz, or a Huckabee.

I think the French have got the right idea when it comes to electing their president. There are multiple rounds of voting: the first one has all the candidates on the ballot, while the second round is between the two nominees who won the most votes in the first round.

I think it would be interesting if the United States adopted that system of voting in the presidential elections, it would force people who normally vote third party to actually choose between the two top contenders in the second round since they can no longer avoid making a choice.
